The factory plastic gears in BMW S65 and S85 throttle body actuators are notorious for premature wear due to mechanical stress, engine vibration, and heat cycling. Over time, this wear leads to excessive play, throttle response issues, and eventual failure. This can cause DME fault codes, limp mode, and DSC malfunctions. Direct more fresh cool air from your BMW's center/nose grills to your intake, with the aFe D.A.S. (Dynamic Air Scoops).
