This is an OEM LuK stock twin mass flywheel. When your clutch starts to experience engagement chatter because of hot spots and wear, replacing it with this OEM dual mass flywheel will restore your vehicles driveability and have you clutch shifting smoothly again. Located between the transmission and driveshaft, the giubo (also guibo) joint is a flexible rubber drive coupling that joins driveline components to reduce vibration, while allowing a limited range of flexibility. Joint rubber deteriorates over time from torque stress and heat hardening. A failed joint is a common cause of driveline noise and vibration.
This joint should be inspected during normal maintenance for signs of heat cracking and tears in the rubber. Failed joints should be replaced before they cause additional damage and expense or disable the vehicle.

Don't neglect your motor mounts! Most stock BMW motor mounts are fluid filled and the stiffness of the mount depends on this fluid. But over time the fluid leaks out and the strength of the mount is greatly reduced. A worn motor mount allows the engine to twist and shift around. The harder you're driving the more shift will occur. As the engine is moving around it can contact other parts in the engine bay - usually cooling related. The mechanical fan can hit the radiator; the A/C compressor can hit a radiator hose, the exhaust will flex and may break. Twisting of the engine can also lead to shifting problems as the transmission twists with it. There are countless issues related to worn or compressed motor mounts so don't overlook these as a regular replacement item (every 50,000 miles).

The FX350 System uses the Power Plus I Pressure Plate with Clutch Masters New Formula Button disc. This clutch is designed for the street enthusiast or weekend racer who plans to abuse their vehicle on an occasional basis and have a spirited driving style.
The FX350 clutch system has a higher holding capacity than a segmented Kevlar lining without compromising the street friendly characteristic Clutch Masters is known for. For year’s enthusiast have had to compromise durability for drivability and vise versa, however with Clutch Masters New Formula button we have closed the gap between these two tradeoffs.
