Perfect for DIY enthusiasts, this all-in-one kit has everything you need to refresh your ignition system! With just one click, you'll get high-quality, matching replacement parts, making it simpler than ever to service and restore your ignition system.

If you're noticing misfires, poor fuel economy, reduced engine performance, or ignition-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), a failing ignition coil is likely the cause. Late-model BMWs, such as the E60 M5, E63 M6, and E64 M6, use a coil-on-plug ignition system, where each cylinder has its own coil and spark plug for efficient ignition. When a coil fails, the affected cylinder won't receive a spark and will misfire. Even if the misfire doesn’t trigger a DTC, you’ll still feel the difference in engine performance—rough idling, hesitation during acceleration, or a strong fuel smell. To avoid these issues, we recommend replacing your ignition coils every 40,000-60,000 miles.

The S85's MSS65 DME uses a unique ignition system known as Ionic Current Control. BMW engineers developed this system to more accurately detect pre-ignition and misfires in the high-revving, ten-cylinder S85. Instead of relying on conventional knock sensors, the system uses each spark plug as a current probe, applying a low voltage to the electrode immediately after the power stroke and sending the resulting current to the Ionic Current Control Unit (ISS) for evaluation. This allows for precise monitoring of combustion events. To support this, the S85’s ignition coils are specially designed with a modified “pencil” shape and lack the typical Zener diode in the secondary winding, allowing for accurate current measurements without triggering fault codes in the engine control unit (DME). Bavarian Autosport ignition coils are manufactured to the exact specifications of the OE Ionic Current Control-compatible ignition coils, and will not trigger ignition-related fault codes in the DME.

Bavarian Autosport ignition coils are engineered for reliability, delivering a consistent, long-lasting spark. These high-quality OE replacement coils are specifically designed for your S85-powered E60 M5, E63 M6, or E64 M6. Constructed with durable, heat-resistant plastic and featuring premium rubber spark plug boots, each boot is pre-lubricated with dielectric grease to ensure smooth installation and prevent corrosion.

Features & Benefits:

Bavarian Autosport Ignition Coils - Set of Ten Durable, temperature-resistant plastic construction is designed to withstand extreme heat and harsh conditions, ensuring long-lasting performance. High-quality rubber spark plug boots are pre-lubricated with dielectric grease to prevent moisture intrusion and potential corrosion. Built to meet or exceed OE manufacturing standards, guaranteeing a perfect fit, reliable performance, and seamless installation. NGK 4471 LKR8AP Spark Plugs - Set of Ten Multi-ground electrodes improve ignition capability and are less sensitive to increased voltage use with gap growth. Corrugated ribs prevent flashover. Copper core aids in heat removal. Pre-gapped to 0.035" (0.9mm) OEM-specified spark plug for all S85 applications.

These are the replacement drive belts used in our Turner Pulley Kit on the S85 V10 engine (E60 M5 and E63/E64 M6). These belts are shorter than the stock belt since our underdrive crank pulley is a larger diameter than stock. Because of the different lengths, you cannot use a stock belt with the Pulley Kit. This set of belts includes the main drive belt (6PK-1400) and the A/C belt (6PK-1045).

This belt set fits the following BMWs with the Turner Pulley Kit:
2006-2010 E60 BMW M5
2004-2011 E63 E64 BMW M6

Our BMW ignition coils are designed with performance and efficiency in mind. An engine needs 3 main components to run (Air, Fuel, Spark.) Turner ignition coils are modified to increase energy output; more energy output results in a faster, more efficient and consistent burn to make sure your fuel is being utilized to its maximum potential. Our signature Turner ignition coils feature a blue housing that give your engine the performance and aesthetic your looking for. Ignition coils should be changed every 40,000 - 60,000 miles and are an important maintenance item due to the essential role they play in your engines health, performance and efficiency. Choose Turner Ignition Coils to keep your engine running strong and healthy. Features and Benefits: Increased performance Direct fitment Signature Turner Blue finish

Ignition coils are key to the efficiency and performance of your BMW. With a faulty coil the spark plug is not burning the air/fuel mixture properly and that can lead to problems anywhere in the engine and exhaust (including catalytic converters and O2 sensors). Problems with one or more coils will cause a fault code but not always a check engine light. A misfire code may be related to an ignition coil but could be from other things as well. Sometimes a visual inspection of a coil and coil boot will give an indication of a failure. You can also move coils around to different cylinder banks to see if the misfire code follows a suspect coil. We suggest always having one or two coils on hand to keep as spares.

This is the current replacement for some BMW 6 and 8-cylinder engines built in the late 2000s and after. BMW has made numerous changes to ignition coil part numbers in recent years but has approved this part number to work in the vehicles listed below. It's listed as a replacement coil for N20, N55, and S55 engines. In March 2015 BMW approved it for N51/N52 engines. This part number replaces the previous BMW part number 12137594937 for the cars listed below.

Sold per coil. Includes boot and connector.
