The upper strut mount provides a locating point for the top of the front struts. It contains a rubber-isolated bearing that allows the strut shaft to move independently from the rest of the suspension - a critical component for the suspension to be quiet and effective. The rubber also absorbs vibrations and impact harshness, helping to keep unwanted noise and harshness from reaching the steering wheel.

This is a replacement power steering fluid reservoir. Why replace the reservoir? Because the connection between the reservoir tank and the hoses is one of the prime locations for power steering leaks on these cars. It's mostly due to the style of clamp that BMW used. But also any replacement clamps are usually over-tightened on these plastic reservoir nipples. There is also a filter inside the reservoir that cannot be changed or serviced. So it's a good idea to replace the tank and get a new filter at the same time. With fresh fluid and a clean filter you might be able to restore some steering smoothness and precision to your BMW! Alternate part number - 32416851217. Reservoir includes new cap with o-ring.

These front adjustable camber/caster plates will replace your stock front upper strut bearing. The KMAC plates are a 'floating' design so camber and caster are adjusted together. This design allows maximum range of adjustment since no other hardware interferes with the adjustments. Since these replace your stock strut bearings they are designed to work with a stock-type spring only. And when installed correctly will not significantly alter ride height. Adjustment is easily done by loosening the three nuts on top of the tower and sliding the camber plate into the position you want, then re-tighten the nuts. These mounts can be installed two ways - for camber correction or swapped side-side for increasing negative camber. Detailed instructions included.

Note: suspensions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Turner Motorsport cannot be responsible for fitment issues caused by non-stock or specialized coil-over suspensions. As with any race-derived component, additonal fabrication may be required.

If you are removing or changing the front struts or springs or replacing the upper strut mount, NOW is the perfect time to replace this upper spring perch. BMW calls it a "upper spring pocket with axial cage bearing". It's really the upper spring plate with the radial bearing set sandwiched between two plastic collars. The bearing is there to allow the spring to rotate a little before going into a bind. If there are popping noises coming from the front strut it's probably because this bearing set is worn or missing. The bearing insert is a common wear item becoming noisy, gritty, or will just fail completely. You won't feel that they're bad from driving the car but you may hear clunking or popping sounds from the front struts. You can replace the rubber mounts on the car but don't leave this part out! It may be just as worn and you won't want to put them back in the car. These are sold individually, so be sure to get two for your car.

The radial bearing set is used in some of our camber plate designs. It's compact, light weight, easy to replace, and inexpensive. It's an excellent alternative to pricey and obscure ball bearing sets found in other camber plates.
