The oxygen sensor is vital to the performance and drivability of your car. The engine computer relies on data from the sensor to make adjustments in engine efficiency and performance. When your BMW oxygen sensor fails, the computer can no longer sense the air/fuel ratio, so it ends up guessing -- resulting in poor performance, poor gas mileage, and increased pollution. This system completely transforms the character of your X5 by replacing the restrictive rear muffler with a high-flowing, TIG-welded stainless steel setup that enhances tone, reduces weight, and maintains factory fitment and finish. Our Muffler Delete Kit features dual 3" primary tubing that transitions to adjustable 3.5" tip sections for a clean yet aggressive look. At the front, the muffler delete kit attaches to the OEM mid-pipe using factory-style sleeve clamps. The connecting pipe is installed at the factory cut location, creating an easy and reversible modification. At the rear, the included sleeve clamps enable easy adjustment and precise tip placement inside the factory rear diffuser.
