Performance options are also available with more aggressive cam profiles that allow increased lift and duration.
This new Valvetronic variable valve timing actuator works by adjusting the eccentric shaft, increasing or decreasing valve lift and duration for optimal performance. If your actuator has failed, you will notice a significant power and performance decrease and an engine service light illuminated on the dash.
