Looking to upgrade your stock clutch to something a little more beefy? The performance clutch kits from DKM are a great option to help get power to the wheels without breaking the bank. Working with Competition Clutch, DKM clutch discs and plates are constructed using quality materials to obtain greater strength and heat tolerance than OE clutches, helping to prevent wear and tear while still giving you increased toque capacity for quicker shifts and more power management.
Stage 1 Kits are best for moderately modified vehicles that want to add a single mass flywheel for quicker revs and a sportier engagement, without adversely affecting the clutch pedal's feel. *This is a 10 Spline clutch kit.*
This Stage 1 performance clutch kit includes the following items:
**For vehicles with 5-speed transmission only.
The ACT Streetlite flywheel offers the following benefits:
Noticeably improved engine response and acceleration: Experience a significant boost in engine performance and acceleration with this component. OE to mild gear rattle: Expect only minimal gear rattle, from Original Equipment (OE) standards to a mild level, ensuring a smoother drive. Heat-treated forging for strength and toughness: Crafted using heat-treated forging, this part guarantees enhanced strength and durability. Induction-hardened ring gears for maximum life: The ring gears undergo induction hardening, providing maximum lifespan and reliability. One-piece construction allows less opportunity for failure and provides uniform efficient heat transfer from the clutch disc: The one-piece design reduces potential failure points and ensures uniform and efficient heat transfer from the clutch disc, preventing issues like warped inserts or loose ring gears. Recommended for street and race use: This component is ideal for both everyday street driving and competitive racing environments.
Forged, CNC machined, and dynamically computer balanced for smooth high RPM reliability: Expertly forged, CNC machined, and dynamically balanced via computer to ensure smooth and reliable performance at high RPMs.
