Knock down the roadblocks preventing you from performing regular maintenance on your BMW. On the E9x and E8x chassis you run into issues with changing the rear spark plugs and coil packs. A job that should take approximately an hour or so ends up taking significantly longer because you have to remove the cowl and all associated screws. Most of the time the screws end up missing or dropped into your engine bay which can be a headache and you have to order new hardware or deal with the cowl being incorrectly fastened.
Cowl delete filters are a great addition to your E9x or E8x chassis; these filters allow you to get rid of clutter in the engine bay which adds benefits like weight reduction, improved air flow in the engine bay, more room for working on the engine and an overall cleaner engine bay appearance. We all know it is important to keep up on engine maintenance to keep your BMW running at peak performance and prevent larger future issues. BMW's newest TwinPower Turbo engine oil is LL01 FE+ certified. It meets BMW's standards for LongLife 2001 ("LL01") and improved fuel economy ("FE+"). The new 0W30 replaces the previous 5W30 oil used in some 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder, and V8 BMW models. This is the sensor / sending unit that notifies the computer if your coolant level is low. When this fails, it can give a false indication of low coolant -- or worse, not inform you of a low coolant situation which could potential cause overheating. (Note: This sensor is also found in the windshield washer container, to alert the computer when you are low on washer fluid)

If your water pump or alternator belt tensioner has failed because of the pulley or bearing, this replacement pulley is all you need to get your BMW back on the road! BMW and other brands usually sell the tensioner with the metal arm included, which increases the cost, even though the arm often doesn't need replacement.
