These connecting pipes allow the Supersprint section 2 exhaust pieces to fit to the original catalytic converters. This makes the system an easy cat-back install for the E90 sedan and E91 wagon models (not needed for E92 coupe or E93 convertible models). These are stainless steel with integrated clamp-on ends.

This Supersprint center section will delete the secondary silencer/resonator in the stock exhaust and fit with the Supersprint sport rear muffler. The front of this section is clamped to the stock secondary cats via a set of connecting pipes. By eliminating the resonator, and matched to the rear muffler, more engine sound can be heard. And with less restriction more torque and horsepower can be released.

The Supersprint Crossover Pipe will delete the rear resonator ahead of the rear mufflers. By removing the resonator, you can get more volume and growl from your exhaust as well as decrease exhaust restriction for slightly better power and torque. Deleting resonators makes a small but noticeable increase in overall volume so it's recommended that this is done after changing or removing mufflers. This x-pipe fits in section 2 of the exhaust - after the factory secondary cat section and before the rear mufflers. It's a direct install with Supersprint mufflers but any other set of mufflers may require custom professional installation to achieve a perfect fit.

Many people know that one of the main keys to getting power from a turbo is to open up the exhaust. Larger piping and less restrictions mean the exhaust gas can flow more easily which is less work for the turbo(s) and engine and that frees up torque and horsepower. These 100-cell metallic sport cats sit in oversized 60-65mm piping and are perfect for someone who installed cat-less downpipes but want some catalytic action on the exhaust to avoid bad smells and pollution. There are no crushed sections in the tubing, unlike the factory system, which contributes to improved flow. These are a direct replacement for the stock secondary cats and bolt to the turbo downpipe. At the back end these are clamped to a section 2 (stock or Supersprint X-Pipe).
