The DS series from BC racing offers increased control and feedback for those looking to achieve the best driving experience possible. Digressive Valving means the shock is firmer at low speed, while transitioning to a softer and more linear feel as (shaft) speed increases. This leads to a much more planted and controlled feeling in the chassis, increased feedback through the wheel, and a slight drop in passenger comfort. Swift Springs are available upon request with your choice of rates and matched or custom valving.

BC Racing has made a name for themselves in the automotive enthusiast communities by developing adjustable, street-and-track capable coilover kits for over a decade that are not only extremely effective, but also don't brake the bank! The BC Racing RM Series Coilover System uses a mono-tube inverted damper in the front and rear of vehicles that use McPherson style OEM strut suspension. On vehicles that use front struts only, BC Racing provides an inverted front strut and then provides an upright BR Series damper for the rear. Inverted dampers are useful in decreasing unsprung weight by moving the greatest mass of the strut to the top where it connects to the sprung weight of the chassis, where weight can be more easily shaved. The RM series feature high quality damping adjustable monotube inverted dampers at the front or front and rear, depending on vehicle. The RM coilovers offer the majority of the features of the BR series but with the additional benefit of the inverted damper unit. Inverting the damper unit brings with it a number of advantages. The large 42mm damper rod and inverted design gives the inverted damper units much greater strength and resistance to side loadings. By reducing flex the RM inverted units lead to more consistent steering geometry resulting in more predictable and responsive handling. Know your protected from the elements! The damper units are black chromed steel to give superb durability even through the darkest of European winters. The aluminum components (top mounts, locking collars etc.) are anodized and the steel lower mounts go through an electrophoretic disposition process followed by powder coating. A random selection of steel components (brackets, dampers, screws etc.) are put through a salt spray test once a month to check the quality of the protective processes and that anti corrosive properties are kept at the highest possible standard. Features: Highly Customizable Inverted Mono-Tube Damper Linear Piston And Damping Curve Height Adjustment Independent Of Spring Compression 30-Clicks Of Simultaneous Compression/Rebound Adjustment Front Camber Plates Standard On Applicable Kits Rear Camber Plates Available For Applicable Kits Custom Spring Rates And Swift Spring Compatible Custom Valving Or Valving Paired For Custom Spring Rates 1-Year Warranty Against Manufacturers Defect Fully Rebuildable NOTE: LEAD TIMES WILL BE 4-8 WEEKS.

The rear damping adjuster on coilovers is usually hidden under a bunch of hard to reach interior panels requiring you to remove carpet, panels and sometimes even the rear seat back in order to adjust the dampening on your BC rear coilovers. The BC Racing rear extender adjuster allow you to make these adjustments without removing the rear interior. Simple make two small holes in the interior above the adjuster and the extension can be passed through the interior panels. Now the adjustments can be performed from above.

Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. While OE rubber bushings are fine when they are new from the factory, aged and worn out rubber bushings create a multitude of issues that can range from annoying to dangerous. As a factory bushing ages, it begins to harden and become brittle. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow for movement at the differential mounting point. At this point, the differential is free to shift under load causing a noticeable clunking noise under acceleration and deceleration and massively increasing the stress on the driveshaft and axles. Manual transmissions suffer the worst from this as it can make shifting difficult since the differential will shift when the clutch is engaged and disengaged.

By replacing these bushings with full polyurethane, the movement is eliminated since the mounting point is supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. This means less stress on the driveshaft and axles and greater longevity of supporting components.

Expect improved acceleration response, more direct shifting feel and overall improved drivetrain composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings.

Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This, in turn, reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.

Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. The Powerflex Front Sway Bar Mounting Bushings (26.5mm) for the BMW E9X 3 Series and BMW X1 xDrive are performance-oriented replacements designed to enhance the function and lifespan of the factory sway bar bushings. Here’s an in-depth description of these bushings: Durable Polyurethane Material: Constructed from high-quality polyurethane, these bushings are far more resistant to wear and environmental factors like oil, heat, and road debris compared to traditional rubber bushings. This ensures long-lasting performance and reduced maintenance over time. Perfect Fit for 26.5mm Sway Bar: Specifically designed for vehicles with a 26.5mm sway bar diameter, these bushings provide a precise fit, allowing for optimal sway bar performance. The snug fit prevents excessive movement of the sway bar, leading to better control and stability during driving. Enhanced Handling and Body Control: By stiffening the connection between the sway bar and the vehicle’s chassis, these bushings help reduce body roll and improve handling. Drivers will experience sharper, more responsive cornering and a more confident feel during quick direction changes. Improved Steering Response: The stiffer polyurethane material ensures that the sway bar reacts more immediately to steering inputs, reducing the lag and sloppiness that can be caused by worn rubber bushings. This results in more precise and predictable handling, especially during spirited driving or on twisty roads. Resistant to Deformation: Unlike rubber bushings, which can crack, shrink, or soften over time, Powerflex polyurethane bushings are engineered to maintain their shape and performance even after prolonged exposure to stress and environmental conditions. This makes them ideal for both street and performance applications. Balanced Performance and Comfort: Powerflex designs their sway bar bushings to deliver performance gains without overly compromising ride comfort. While firmer than rubber, these bushings are optimized to limit increases in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), making them suitable for both daily driving and more aggressive driving scenarios. Direct OEM Replacement: These bushings are a direct replacement for the front sway bar bushings on the BMW E9X 3 Series and BMW X1 xDrive models, making installation straightforward and hassle-free. No modifications or additional hardware are needed, ensuring a smooth fitment process. Ideal for Performance Upgrades: Whether you’re looking to improve your vehicle’s handling for street driving or track use, these sway bar bushings offer enhanced performance, greater sway bar effectiveness, and increased durability, making them an essential upgrade for enthusiasts. In conclusion, the Powerflex 26.5mm Front Sway Bar Mounting Bushings for the BMW E9X 3 Series and X1 xDrive are an ideal solution for those seeking improved handling, greater durability, and a more connected driving experience. By replacing the bushings with full polyurethane this play is eliminated since the subframe is being held in place by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering and acceleration inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings.
