BMW Engine Parts for BMW 7 Series F02 (2009+)

Pulleys begin to squeak once they are reaching the end of their life span and the tensioners can fail, no longer applying enough tension to the accessory belt. If not replaced, tese can seize up and lead to a long host of problems that would leave you stranded on the side of the road. Prevent this with routine maintenance and replace your belts and pulleys every 50,000 miles to ensure continued reliability.

Fits the following BMW chassis:
F22/23 F87 F3X F07/10/11 F06/12/13 F01/02 F25/26 E70/71 F15/16

Fits the following BMW engines:
N55 3.0L, S65 3.0L

The N54 suffers from a weak point in its crankshaft. It has been reported that when increasing the power to the engine, the crank hub can move or spin slightly under an extreme load. This is most apparent under high-rev downshifts or in the case of increased boost pressure which creates more stress on the engines rotating assembly. In order to keep this from happening, the crank bolt must be secured to the hub to keep it from backing off, but this can be a tricky solution since a simple dab of Loctite will not suffice.

Here is an easy, and cost-effective way to secure the situation; The VTT N54 crank bolt capture. This lightweight and durable ring slips over the head of the crank bolt fully encapsulating it, and locks it to the crank hub and eliminating its ability to spin. The VTT-CBC is 100% Billet Aircraft Grade Aluminum, Anodized black to protect it from the elements, and give it a stealth look. What's more is that it weighs only 1.3 Oz's meaning you aren't adding excess mass to the crankshaft which will avoid any imbalance or vibration issues.

While this is not a full fix for all crank hub spinning issues, the engineers at Vargas have found most issues have stemmed from the bolt itself backing out, and this is a great way to keep that from happening. Extremely lightweight at only 1.3 Oz's it adds virtually no weight to the crank which is important for balance and vibration.

Kit Includes:

• 1x Aluminum Crank Bolt Capture
• 8x Fasteners Gr. 12.9

BMW N20 N52 N55 Timing Chain addresses the common issue of timing chain stretch and rattling over time. Although BMW designates the timing chain as a lifetime part, many enthusiasts choose to replace it preemptively. Turner Motorsport offers this direct-fit replacement for those needing to replace a worn or damaged timing chain without opting for a full kit.

• Direct Fit Replacement: Perfect for replacing a stretched or broken timing chain.
• High-Quality Construction: Ensures durability and reliability in maintaining engine timing.
• Ease of Installation: Designed to fit precisely without requiring additional modifications.
• Ideal for Maintenance: A practical choice for enthusiasts who prefer to change the timing chain independently of a full kit.

This is an OEM INA Idler Pulley, also known as the roller pulley or deflection pulley. The idler pulleys are known to be the primary sources for 'belt squealing'. The pulley is also encased in rubber which will crack over time. If left without service the rubber could fail completely, chucking the belt and leaving you stranded. Replacement is a very simple procedure and can be done anytime the fan is off the engine (belt replacement, water pump service, alternator replacement, etc).
