The Turner engineered catch cans offer a pre-setup design based ion desired flow direction, however, this does not limit you to this flow. The inner baffle orientation can be easily adjusted to flow in both directions in case you decide to move this catch can to a different vehicle. A 4 chamber system baffle system inside the catch can was engineered to create multiple changes in the direction of airflow within the separator to cause oil droplets to fall out of suspension before exiting the catch can. Having a closed/recirculated design reduces oil ingestion and promotes cleaner emissions and odor-less operation.

Spool Performance is a top name in the BMW Forced Induction industry. Spool Performance's state-of-the-art upgrades for your BMW fueling systems are a surefire way to make more power, reliably. The Helix from Spool is simply a planetary gearbox for your High-pressure fuel pump. The particular configuration of the gears and their spatial fixturing allows an axial increase in shaft speed from the input to the output of the unit. The N54/early n55 high-pressure pump is a very capable and over-engineered piece of hardware. They do a good job supplying fuel at high pressures at stock power levels. As we start tuning and pushing more power, we start seeing drops in the high pressure. What is happening here is that the high-pressure pump is not able pump as much fuel as the injectors are injecting into the cylinders and hence causing the rail pressures to drop. The pump at this point is running out of displacement volume. With a rotary pump like the continental HPFP, an easier way to increase displacement is to spin the pump faster which results in an increased number of delivery strokes per cycle. The Helix helps you do exactly this and thus helps overcome a big limitation in N54/early N55 fuel systems without the complexity of a secondary port injection system.

Even more importantly, the DW400 delivers 31% more flow than its nearest competitor, the Walbro 450 "e85", at pressures between 70 and 100 psi. The DW400 has a 46mm diameter width and is compatible with pump gas, e85, and race fuels. The pump is also compatible with pulse width modulated pump drivers. The filter unit on the continental rotary high pressure fuel pumps perform an important function of final stage filtering of fine particle impurities before it reaches the hpfp pump chamber or worse, the injectors leading to leaky injectors. The problem with them is that they are extremely tiny and restrictive and sometimes even rupture failing to filter at all. The issue becomes worse when running high-performance products like the Spool Helix overdrive system because now you have an increased flow requirement through this filter that it just cannot keep up.

Dinan Iridium Spark Plugs are an excellent upgrade for tuned, and even stock engines, where applicable.* Our spark plugs are made from Iridium - one of the strongest materials available. They last longer than other materials with higher melting points, run cooler, resist preignition, and even require less voltage to produce a strong spark. The iridium electrode with its copper core is harder and stronger than other materials, can dissipate heat more easily, and is better protected from melting, cracking, and other limitations found with standard plugs. Dinan spark plugs are great for high boost, high cylinder pressure, high cylinder temperatures, and high-power situations, and they pair nicely with a set of Dinan ignition coils, where applicable. If installed on a stock N54/N55 vehicle the plug will not reach its self cleaning temperature and be unable to burn off the combustion deposits leading to fouling, misfires, and a shorter lifespan of the plug.
