Replacement pad wear sensor, typically replaced when changing brake pads. If your brake lining warning is activated, the sensor will need to be replaced.

We recommend replacing the brake sensor wire each time the brake pads are replaced. These often become brittle and will disintegrate while removing them from the old pads. This sensor is mounted on the rear.

If you have previously tried EBC Redstuff (pre-ceramic compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer, brakes better and is overall quieter. Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their brake rotor. This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking.

EBC Yellowstuff brake pads are designed for high friction and strong stopping power, with good heat resistance for heavy braking. In 2021, the formulation was updated to remove copper for environmental compliance, resulting in a longer lifespan but also a longer bedding-in period. As a result, Yellowstuff is no longer recommended for track use and is best suited for high-performance street driving and heavy-duty applications such as towing with trucks and SUVs. For track day use, EBC now recommends Bluestuff pads, which offer quicker bed-in times and better performance in racing conditions while remaining street-friendly.

TRW is one of the largest global brake pad manufacturers in the independent aftermarket and follows the pillars of ZF Aftermarket’s standards of safety, engineering excellence, innovation, partnership, and perfectly tailored product lines. With the new copper-free formulation, the TRW Friction lines has outperformed itself in categories of comfort and lifespan. Reduced noise and dust have brought TRW ahead of competitors, putting the product lines ahead of the California copper-free legislation deadline of 2025, and reaching above the standard of OE. TRW Ultra features CITEC coating to provide additional stopping performance during the break-in period, and shims that are designed per the OE configuration. A siliramic lubrication packet is included in the box to further aid in installation.
