This timing chain camshaft gear controls the camshaft position and timing and is located toward the front of the engine. Located on the exhaust side of the engine at the front end of the exhaust camshaft. Sometimes changed when replacing the timing chain. T#34658 may also be required when servicing this part.

A turbo impeller wheel speed is mostly limited by the exhaust backpressure within the system. If one could eliminate some or most of this exhaust back pressure, the turbo will spool that much faster and effortlessly resulting in quicker engine revs and increased HP.
