The factory BMW charge pipes are prone to cracking, as they are made from brittle plastic. Here at Turner, we sell several brands of replacement charge pipes that are typically made from cast aluminum. We recommend upgrading to hard charge pipes even on stock forced induction vehicles to avoid cracking - we've seen cracking occur on high mileage cars running stock power just as frequently as we do with high horsepower builds.
Though functionally identical to the stock plastic pipes, these Burger Motorsports chargepipes are an improvement in both reliability and versatility. This is due to their black gloss powder coated aluminum construction, giving them greater strength and a better appearance, and the inclusion of a 1/8" NPT bung & cap included in each pipe.

When you’re turning up the boost on your F-Chassis M5 or M6, the factory plastic charge pipes become a known weak link. The BMS Elite Replacement Aluminum Charge Pipes eliminate that failure point with a properly engineered, motorsport-grade solution built for the S63TU twin-turbo V8. Developed by Burger Motorsports specifically for the F10 M5 and F12/F13 M6, these mandrel-bent aluminum charge pipes provide a smooth, unrestricted airflow path from the turbos to the intercoolers, improving throttle response and maintaining consistent boost under load. More importantly, they’re built to survive where the OEM plastic pipes crack, split, and blow apart — especially on tuned or hard-driven cars. CNC-machined flanges, bead-rolled ends, and high-quality silicone couplers ensure a leak-free, secure connection, while all factory sensor ports and mounting locations are retained for a true bolt-on installation. No cutting, no tuning, no compromises — just a clean, OEM-plus upgrade that delivers the reliability your S63TU needs for street, track, and everything in between.
