The DW300 is DeatschWerks' flagship standard fitment in-tank pump. The DW300 flows 340lph at 40psi and is a popular choice for e85 applications or wherever the highest flowing standard fitment in-tank pump is needed. Quiet operation and pulse width modulation compatibility are delivered via the turbine impeller and computer balanced armature. E85 compatibility is built in via the carbon commutators and a fully encapsulated armature. All DW fuel pumps are backed by a 3-yr no fault warranty. Spool Performance's state-of-the-art upgrades for your BMW fueling systems are a surefire way to make more power, reliably. The Helix from Spool is simply a planetary gearbox for your High-pressure fuel pump. The particular configuration of the gears and their spatial fixturing allows an axial increase in shaft speed from the input to the output of the unit. The early N55 high-pressure pump is a very capable and over-engineered piece of hardware. As we start tuning and pushing more power, we start seeing drops in the high pressure. What is happening here is that the high-pressure pump is not able pump as much fuel as the injectors are injecting into the cylinders and hence causing the rail pressures to drop. The pump at this point is running out of displacement volume. With a rotary pump like the continental HPFP, an easier way to increase displacement is to spin the pump faster which results in an increased number of delivery strokes per cycle. The Helix helps you do exactly this and thus helps overcome a big limitation in early N55 fuel systems without the complexity of a secondary port injection system.

The DW400 surpasses the 400LPH benchmark by delivering an industry leading in-tank flow of 415LPH at 40psi. Even more importantly, the DW400 delivers 31% more flow than its nearest competitor, the Walbro 450 "e85", at pressures between 70 and 100 psi. The DW400 has a 46mm diameter width and is compatible with pump gas, e85, and race fuels. The pump is also compatible with pulse width modulated pump drivers. The pump ships with a universal fitment kit which includes fuel hose, clamps, electrical harness, and filter. As with all DW products, the pump is warrantied for 3-yrs to the original purchaser.
