The valve cover is responsible for sealing the internal workings of the engines' top end. Most vehicles require a replacement gasket at some point or another and newer models have plastic valve covers that get brittle and crack with age.
If your valve cover is cracked or warped, replace it with this Febi part to avoid leaks and prevent additional valvetrain damage. You will also need to purchase (2) 11367609963 self-tapping screws for proper valve cover installation.
