This increased spring rate helps the vehicle respond quicker to steering inputs and gives the chassis a more "athletic" feel. 

Although they will function well on stock dampers, we recommend swapping for a set of Bilstien B8 as they are made to be used with lowering springs. Stock struts have a tendancy to bottom out when lowered with srings which can cause the suspension to actually ride on the rubber bump stop when taking corners. Using a set of struts made to work with lower springs will allow you to maximize the potential of this upgrade and will completely transform the handling characterisitcs of your vehicle
