This pipe replaces the factory section 1 with larger 76mm tubing. With larger piping there is less restriction which helps the turbo work more efficiently. The turbo can make more power and torque and will last longer thanks to the reduce effort or pushing exhaust gases. This is a full stainless and mandrel-bent pipe that will connect to the factory or Supersprint downpipe.

This tuned resonator section replaces the factory resonator and works with the Supersprint muffler for a new, more aggressive, but still tame, exhaust note. The resonator is tuned along with the rest of the exhaust to give a more sporty sound than the factory M235i resonator but still meet European noise regulations. If you want more sound after this, there is a resonator-delete pipe available as well.

Supersprint has developed this rear muffler for the M235i that fits in place of the stock muffler and gives a more sporty and aggressive exhaust note (when combined with the Supersprint section 2 pipes). Supersprint builds their exhausts from the muffler-forward and tunes each section along the way. They're not just adjusting sound levels and tone but also backpressure and flow. The goal is to achieve power and torque gains in concert with a pleasing sound. This M235i muffler uses larger 100mm exhaust tips that fill out the rear bumper better than the stock muffler without requiring trimming.

If you're looking for a bit more volume from your 235i exhaust, this piece will delete the factory resonator ahead of the muffler. It can be used on its own or in combination with the Supersprint performance muffler. Either way, more of the N20 engine and turbo will be heard. This pipe is made from 304 stainless steel and mandrel bent. Helping improve airflow is the larger 76mm diameter pipe.

This resonator fits in front of the muffler and takes the place of the stock resonator. With larger 76mm piping and a Supersprint resonator tuned for the rest of the exhaust, this section flows better than the original. The resonator keeps the engine noise from being excessively loud (a requirement for European noise regulations) but if more sound is desired a non-resonated section is also available.

The oxygen sensor is part of your BMW's emissions control system and feeds data to BMW engine management computer. The oxygen sensor is positioned in the exhaust pipe and can detect rich and lean mixtures. The goal of the oxygen sensor is to help the engine run as efficiently as possible and also to produce as few emissions as possible. When your BMW oxygen sensor fails, the computer can no longer sense the air/fuel ratio, so it ends up guessing -- resulting in poor performance, poor gas mileage, and increased pollution.
