Charge Pipes & Turbo Inlets

Charge Pipes & Turbo Inlets for BMW 3 Series F30 (2012+)

The factory BMW charge pipes are prone to cracking, as they are made from brittle plastic. Here at Turner, we sell several brands of replacement charge pipes that are typically made from cast aluminum. We recommend upgrading to hard charge pipes even on stock forced induction vehicles to avoid cracking - we've seen cracking occur on high mileage cars running stock power just as frequently as we do with high horsepower builds.

The factory charge pipes are made of plastic, which is fine for stock boost levels but does not hold up well under higher boost levels. The solution is to replace that plastic piece with a hard aluminum one from Evolution Racewerks. 6061 high-grade aluminum not only stands up to whatever you can throw at it, but it looks great at the same time. Don't risk detonating that 400.00 plastic pipe from BMW. Swap yours out and avoid the headache of needing to call a tow-truck or drive home in limp. Features: Increase throttle response and decreases turbo lag. Lightweight High Grade 6061 Aluminum Piping. Replaces the factory soft plastic charge pipe that is prone to breaking under high boost. Retains factory-style o-ring c-clip lock flange. Precision CNC machined MAP sensor and IAT flanges ensure a leak-free connection. Charge Pipe features beaded ends and T-bolt clamps to prevent intercooler piping from coming off from boost. Silicone Hump Hose included. Type III Hard Black Anodizing (for stealth and OEM look). Hard anodizing helps improve the durability of intercooler piping. Resists bent or dented piping. Compatible with the factory electronic diverter valve. Includes all hardware for a complete installation. Limited Lifetime Warranty.

This kit from Active Autowerke replaces the weak plastic charge pipe with a new aluminum part, secured with a high-quality silicone couple. When you're building a high-powered turbocharged engine, or even just looking for peace of mind on a stock application, durability modifications are just as important - if not more important - than adding power. If your charge pipe fails, it results in a huge vacuum leak that sends your ECU into limp mode, diminishing performance significantly. Don't wait - upgrade your charge pipe today!
