The aFe MACH Force-Xp cat-back exhaust system for the BMW N55 delivers uncompromising quality and performance. 3"- 2-1/2" mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing and high flow transverse muffler offers optimum exhaust flow and incorporates a factory style exhaust valve to control the exhaust note at all throttle inputs. The system utilizes the factory valve motor and factory performance modes. Closed, it directs the exhaust through the high flow muffler for a smooth, tuned exhaust note. When opened, the exhaust bypasses the muffler to unleash the full performance potential and aggressive note from your N55. Large 4" diameter polished stainless steel exhaust tips come with a laser-etched aFe POWER logo for a stylish finish.

3" into 2-1/2" mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing for maximum performance, corrosion resistance, durability and overall breath-taking appearance.
High-Flow Performance Muffler:
Featuring a corrosion resistant high temp. metallic black powder-coat this high flow, transverse stainless steel muffler improves sound and performance gains across the power band.
Dual 4" Polished Tips:
Finishing off this system are dual 4" diameter, polished stainless steel exhaust tips. The tips come with a laser-etched aFe power logo for a custom, stylish finish.
Exhaust Valve:
Incorporated is a factory style exhaust valve which uses the factory exhaust valve motor (not included). The valve helps regulate, direct and control the flow of exhaust gases by opening, closing, or partially obstructing passageways depending on throttle position and factory performance mode for maximum performance.
Resonator Delete Pipe:
An optional resonator delete pipe is compatible with this exhaust system (not included, sold separately) aFe part number: 49-36622 (No cutting or fabrication required).
TIG-Welded:
100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability.
Hassle-Free Installation:
This exhaust system is designed to be a true bolt on system with no cutting or modifications required. Quality hardware is included for a hassle-free installation.

This new MACH Force XP exhaust system is for the 2016+ BMW 340i F30 with the new N58 3.0L turbo engine. In recent testing this system produced 14 horsepower and 13 lbs. x ft. of torque. This exhaust system is constructed from 3.0” mandrel bent stainless steel and is hand TIG-welded. The system uses a high flow transverse muffler with 3" diameter tubing which improves performance across the power band while maintaining a great tone. To finish off this exhaust are dual double wall resonated angle cut polished 304 stainless steel tips. The factory actuator drive is retained with the aFe exhaust so that a check engine light does not occur. This exhaust uses all factory hanger locations for a hassle free installation. No modifications necessary.

aFe is proud to introduce the aFe Twisted Steel® non-catalytic down-pipe for the 2012-2013 BMW F30 335i with the L6-3.0L (N55) engine. In testing this system resulted in a max gain of 13 horsepower and 27 lbs. x ft. of torque and outflowed the restricted OE catalytic converter by up to 190%. This high performance race pipe delivers pure, race-inspired raw power and also produces an aggressive and exciting exhaust sound during hard throttle. aFe also used a massive, light-weight 4" diameter 304 stainless steel tube and progressively tapers to increase exhaust velocity and usable torque.
Tig-Welded:
100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds reducing stress cracks.
Tapered Design:
A unique 4" Dia. 304 stainless steel taper design is used to increase exhaust velocity and increase usable torque. This means more aggressive throttle response and increased passing power.
Factory O2 Sensor Locations:
Factory mounting locations for all O2 sensors.
Hassle-Free Installation:

Note: This is a "Race Only" product used solely for competition. Its use is limited to closed-course and open-course racing that is formally sanctioned by a recognized racing organization. Any other use including recreational off-road use could be in violation of local, state and federal laws. A check engine light will emit and aFe recommends using a programmer but it is not necessary.
This part alters or deletes the emissions equipment on your car, and may not meet emissions standards in all states. Because of this, we require a waiver of emissions compliance to be signed and sent in to TMS. You can download the waiver here.
