One often overlooked piece is the upper strut bearing and mount. This is the top mount for your struts and provides a solid platform for your front suspension. If worn, the bearings within this mount make noise, there is slop from worn rubber, and it can shorten the life of your shocks. To get the most out of your new suspension setup, it's recommended that you replace all parts that are known to fail. Not only will this make your new setup more effective, it will provide a better ride, proper tire position, and make all of your parts last longer.

Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. While OE rubber bushings are fine when they are new from the factory, aged and worn out rubber bushings create a multitude of issues that can range from annoying to dangerous. As a factory bushing ages, it begins to harden and become brittle. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow for movement at the differential mounting point. At this point, the differential is free to shift under load causing a noticeable clunking noise under acceleration and deceleration and massively increasing the stress on the driveshaft and axles. Manual transmissions suffer the worst from this as it can make shifting difficult since the differential will shift when the clutch is engaged and disengaged.

By replacing these bushings with full polyurethane, the movement is eliminated since the mounting point is supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. This means less stress on the driveshaft and axles and greater longevity of supporting components.

Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane differential bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved acceleration response, more direct shifting feel and overall improved drivetrain composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

BMW’s are known to have failure prone front thrust/control arm bushings. The flexible rubber bushings, even those found in M performance models, allow significant movement of the front wheels to maximize daily driving comfort, but also allow considerable alignment change. This results in a disconnected and numb road feel, standing between you and a confidence-inspiring driving experience. Eventually the fluid-filled rubber bushings fatigue and crack due to continual deflection and ozone degradation, and eventually, the damping fluid leaks out resulting in complete failure. For the enthusiast looking for superior performance and longevity with a crisp, confidence-inspiring driving experience, our sealed ball joint monoballs are the best solution available! Our experience with spherical front control arm ball joints go back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 racecars (GS class Champions in 2011). We wanted to offer F22/23 and F3X owners similar levels of handling precision and control for the track and street. The bearing housing is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and features a knurled OD to ensure a perfect press fit, and utilize a sealed OEM BMW ball joint for exceptional quality and durability, making them completely at home on both the street and track with no compromise. We have done extensive street, autocross, and track testing to ensure the ball joint used in this bushing design excels in each setting. The advantage of a sealed ball joint is that it eliminates all unwanted deflection while still allowing complete bind-free movement throughout suspension travel, resulting in exceptional control of wheel alignment. What you get is superior steering precision, turn-in response, direct braking feedback, and better handling. In short, if you're seeking the ultimate in precise, predictable handling and control, with a crisp braking response, and a long service life that’s equally at home on the street or track - look no further. We have you covered. Watch to learn more about Turner Monoball Bushings We offer these thrust arms with the monoball bushings pre-installed for your convenience. Since BMW recommends the control arms be replaced for every other bushing change, we prefer to sell these as a pre-assembled set. The bushings are also available separately if you wish to source your own control arms. Features: Bearing housing Precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 blue anodized aluminum Knurled OD to provide the perfect fit for the wide range of thrust arm bore diameters among brands. CNC machined 304ss ball joint sleeve inserts, providing a precision fit between the ball joint and the subframe. Bearing OEM BMW sealed and greased ball joint for exceptional durability and service life. Performance Nearly instantaneous, crisp steering and braking response. Maintenance free, long lasting performance. Improved road feel without undesirable NVH.

Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering and acceleration inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Made in the USA TMS E90/E92/E82 (NON M) solid differential mounts are designed around current Grand Am Cup regulations, derived from, and currently used in TMS racecars. Thick Delrin casings are used as the non-metallic solid bushing. Replacing your differentials rubber mounts with this kit will result in a snappier feel when cornering and better suspension performance. You save money by never having to replace the stock rubber mounts that fail due to old age and fatigue. These bushings are CNC machined in the USA and made with high-grade materials.

Modern BMW's are beginning to leave the performance derived handling and power delivery in the past as the demand for more comfort and features rises. The stiff suspension components designed around having the best driving experience from a luxury car has been left for the M models and replaced with soft rubber bushings and mounts. Unfortunately, this is a good move by BMW to support the masses.

The obvious approach was to offer products so the modern BMW can be upgraded into the car the enthusiast desires, superb handling, control, and a direct delivery of power to the rear wheels. When you upgrade to our Delrin subframe mounts you reconnect that power with almost zero negative feedback.

The added appeal to someone looking to take one of these machines on the race track is Delrin can be used when solid mounts are needed and aluminum is not an option with strict regulations found in Grand-Am, BMW CCA, and other racing series.

Product features:

  • Precision machined Delrin(TM) 150 bushings.
  • Precision machined 6061-T6 aluminum inserts.
  • Class legal for any racing class that does not allow a solid subframe bushing.

Performance Benefits:

  • Eliminates subframe movement for more direct throttle and suspension  response.
  • Minimizes wheel hop due to subframe deflection and movement.

***Installation Instructions***

Stock rubber control arm bushings give a disconnected and mushy feel to the front suspension, especially when worn, as the bushing deflects more than it should. You get sloppy steering, vibrations, and poor handling which makes the car feel unstable. These urethane bushings are stiffer than stock rubber and will not deflect as much. This helps keep the alignment in check with less variation. The car feels more planted and confidence-inspiring. And a lifetime warranty means you'll likely never have to pay for another bushing ever again! Powerflex polyurethane subframe bushings are firmer than OEM bushings, resulting in better handling, a more planted rear-end, and more efficient suspension articulation - all with minimal sacrifice to ride quality. Powerflex is the number one selling suspension bushing manufacturer in Europe. Their experience with polyurethane bushing material and state-of-the art manufacturing techniques allows them to produce premium performance bushings, made to exact-fit standards. Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings are built to last longer than OEM rubber bushings, while improving performance and allowing for a more engaging driving experience. Use of Powerflex Copper Grease PCG1 is recommended for ease of installation. Periodic reapplication is recommended to extend squeak-free service life of bushings. Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushings with full polyurethane this play is eliminated since the subframe is being held in place by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering and acceleration inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

These Rear Trailing Arm Knuckle Bushing replace the rubber factory bushings (33326792551) attaching the lower trailing arm to the knuckle with a low friction teflon-lined spherical bearing. Replacing the OEM component with this bushing will allow for less deflection under heavy load, and less bind as the arm travels through its suspension. These bushings use the largest possible FK bearing in this location for increased longevity and lower NVH. The housing for the bearing is machined out of 6061-T6 aluminum and is CNC cut to +/- .001" tolerance to insure proper fitment. Sold as a pair. Made in the USA.

Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This in turn reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.

Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

Differential bushings are responsible for keeping your rear end planted during the delivery of power to the rear wheels. As these bushings age, they wear out and should be replaced. If you ever see your bushings are cracked, it is time to replace them. By eliminating the drivetrain deflection that factory rubber bushings permit, throttle response is improved, and the tendency for a car to “Wheel Hop” is significantly reduced. Upgrade to ECS Poly Diff Bushings and feel the difference!

Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

ECS Polyurethane Subframe bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, ECS Polyurethane Subframe bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, ECS Polyurethane Subframe bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still maintaining enough comfort for the street. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure.

Key Benefits:

95A Polyurethane isolator reduces unwanted drivetrain movement while still allowing for an aggressive yet streetable driving experience.

Polyurethane bushings reduce subframe bushing deflection versus stock rubber bushings while keeping vibrations associated with such modification to a minimum.

Poly formulation and durometer, profile, and loaded surface area designed to minimize stress concentrations to stay within acceptable compressive strain limits of the material

Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) ECS Polyurethane Subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while making ride quality more responsive, yet still streetable. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden and crack.

For someone looking for superior performance and longevity these sealed monoball bushings are the best upper thrust bearing you can buy for an F22 2-series or F3X 3/4-series. The advantage of a monoball bearing is that it will not deflect under load. All of the rubber bushings move in all sorts of directions and that changes your alignment, especially when used with big brake kits or when driven hard. The condition worsens as the bushing wears out. The Dinan monoball sits in a CNC machined aluminum housing which has zero deflection. The monoball allows complete freedom of movement but only at the desired angles. What you get is superior steering precision, better handling from more consistent alignment, and almost infinite bushing life. And thanks to the inner liner and sealed rubber boots there's none of the extra noise or reduced service life of fully solid race bushings.

We strongly advise using these with new control arms. BMW recommends that the bushings be replaced only once per set of control arms. So if your thrust arm bushings have been replaced already then we do not recommend re-using the arms. The other reason is that the aluminum arms stretch over time which will make the bushings loose inside the arm. Other manufacturers recommend filling the stretched arms with paste but replacing the control arm is the better solution.

The added appeal to someone looking to take one of these machines on the race track is Delrin can be used when solid mounts are needed and aluminum is not an option with strict regulations found in??Grand-Am, BMW CCA, and other racing series.

Product features:

  • Precision machined Delrin(TM) 150 bushings.
  • Precision machined 6061-T6 aluminum inserts.?
  • Class legal for any racing class that does not allow a solid subframe bushing.?

Performance Benefits:

  • Eliminates subframe movement for more direct throttle and suspension? response.?
  • Minimizes wheel hop due to subframe deflection and movement.?
