Lowering springs are the most cost effective way to improve your BMW's handling. They lower the center of gravity of your vehicle, reduce body roll, and give your car a more aggressive stance. We recommend pairing lowering springs with Koni or Bilstein dampers, especially if your stock dampers have a lot of miles on them.

Using a linear design (similar to OEM) with unique spring rates, Emmanuele Design's lowering springs are properly matched to the factory dampers, ensuring a ride quality that is slightly stiffer than stock, but predictable in nature. A progressive spring will typically be softer at light loads, then dramatically stiffen as compression increases. This makes it very hard to match dampening, and creates the bouncy feeling over light bumps. The linear design of these springs have a consistent rate as the spring sees higher load. On light bumps, it will allow the chassis to follow the road well (minimizing the bouncy feeling), while under heavy compression it will stiffen to prevent bottoming out. In our experience, this creates a much better overall ride quality. Compatible with adaptive suspension.

Designed and engineered in the US, aFe's Control Variable Height Springs (VHS) now allow you the adjustability of coil-over systems while allowing you to retaining your EDC ride selection. These springs are built to optimize your factory shock absorber dampening and is 100% compatible with stock suspension after a slight bit of modification. The only modifications to the vehicle are the removal of the spring seat on the stock front shocks and replacing them with the TIG welded and Zinc coated VHS coil-over sleeves. These sleeves have mounting points for the OEM accelerometers and sway bar.
