These Supersprint sport catalytic converters are designed to be used with their Race cat-less downpipes. These are metallic sport HJS catalytic converters that are some of the best sport cats on the market. Using these with the M3/M4 cat-less downpipes will produce more power over the stock system with less heat and less complication but will require special software, modules, or a stand-alone engine management to keep the check engine light and fault codes from appearing. Straight pipes with no cats are also available for full-race systems where no cats are required. These front cats are designed to be used only with the Supersprint section 2 H-pipe. Supersprint/HJS sport cats, combined with cat-less downpipes, are the best way for producing power and still cleansing the exhaust gas.

As part of their complete performance exhaust system for the F80 M3 and F82 M4, Supersprint has developed front and center straight pipe sections that eliminate the secondary cats and center resonator. This makes the exhaust louder, lighter, and produces more horsepower and torque thanks to zero restriction. Section 2 deletes the factory resonator and is built with an H-pipe crossover for better torque. The front and center sections are designed to be installed together and bolt up to the stock cat/downpipe or the Supersprint cat-less downpipes for a full race system. Depending on the requirements these straight pipes can be used with a stock muffler section or the Supersprint mufflers.
