Featuring a low dusting compound, that offers stopping power even when your brake discs are cold. EBC Redstuff pads are comprised of a ceramic particle-enhanced Kevlar-fiber based braking compound. If you have previously tried EBC Redstuff (pre-ceramic compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer, brakes better and is overall quieter. Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their brake rotor. Bluestuff NDX is an intermediate grade trackday and race pad making it the material of choice for many club level racers and serious trackday enthusiasts. However, due to Bluestuff having excellent cold friction and being very controllable, this compound has quickly become the brake pad of choice for performance road car drivers in USA and Asia markets where R90 homologation does not apply. More recently, EBC are pleased to announce that Bluestuff has passed extensive road-focused testing and gained R90 approval on some E.U. fitments, making it unique in being the first truly track-focused pad which is also perfectly legal for use on the public roads across Europe. There is no requirement for E.U. customers to inform their insurance company following the fitment of R90 approved pads. For customers with the experience of EBCâ€™s widely acclaimed Yellowstuff material, Bluestuff boasts a similar friction profile but with a usefully higher friction coefficient across the now larger working range, feeling much like youâ€™d imagine Yellowstuff to feel after a double hit of espresso. Bluestuff has a high friction coefficient without feeling grabby, taking things up a notch from EBCâ€™s Yellowstuff material by bringing superb pedal modulation to a track pad with even greater fade resistance. However, being a track-focused material, customers may experience a noticeable increase in both brake dust and brake noise. As is often the case with friction materials, an increase in ultimate performance is often met by an increase in noise and dust.

This axle-back exhaust system is manufactured entirely from titanium. This makes this system ideal for cutting weight while being structurally stronger than the OE exhaust system. The engineers at Akrapovic have retained the dual mode exhaust flap control from the original system. This allows the vehicle to have a more civilized, but deeper than stock sound at low speed. However, at higher RPM (or when selecting the S mode on the gearshift) the muffler is bypassed, creating a deep and sporty sound much more in keeping with the personality of the car. The included exhaust pipe tips are made completely from titanium OR a carbon fiber/titanium composite to add a high-end, refined style. Performance has not been left out of the design. The system dramatically reduces backpressure and is an excellent starting point for further engine tuning or turbo modifications. Even when installed on an otherwise stock vehicle a gain of 7.3 horsepower and 17.4 Nm/12.8 lbs-ft of torque are achieved. Furthermore, a weight reduction of 3.0 kg/6.6 lbs. is realized. The OEM catalysts are retained, so no reflashing of the ECU is required and the check engine light will not be triggered.
