VTT is hitting the ground running in 2023 with the F8X platforms. We are proud to introduce our “GCMAX” evolution of our insanely popular and record-holding GC Series of S55 turbocharger upgrades. We took what we learned from those, and take these to the next level! We increased all the internal flow channels, optimized AR ratios, maxed out the inlet size at 2.5', and increased the compressor wheel to 67mm. Last but not least, the biggest difference maker! We had to completely retool our turbine housings to take our 54mm G25 series turbine. This wheel absolutely outflows everything on the market and is what we use on our G8X S58 GC+ and F9X M5/8 GC. This wheel is proven to spool faster and flow more than any other wheel in its size range. This is the KEY to making big power while keeping back pressure down. This same wheel combo has seen 1000WHP on the F9X platforms and has more still on top. This setup, also went 9.44@146 in the G80 with a completely stock motor, and drivetrain. If you are looking to take your F8X to the next level whether built motor or stock without breaking the bank, THIS is the ticket. CTS Turbo is excited to announce the release of our latest Stage 2+ aka the “RS” turbocharger set, designed specifically for the BMW S55 platform. This kit builds on the success and knowledge of the previous turbo projects we have made and incorporates new technology to optimize performance and maintain factory fitment. Our engineers utilized transient flow analysis and flow bench testing to optimize the twin-scroll turbine housing while maintaining stock fitment, stock location, and stock wastegates. This allows for the use of any stock fitment downpipes, intakes, and charge pipes. The result is an impressive 808whp on a built engine with supporting mods. You can simply transfer your factory wastegates, high-performance downpipes, intake, and charge pipes during the installation. No custom parts are needed and all factory installation hardware and gaskets are used! The kit features complete brand-new turbochargers and large inlet pipes. No need for cores to be sent in or purchased. Each turbocharger is VSR balanced to exceed OE tolerances with upgraded heavy-duty bearings and thrust washers. We supply reinforced silicone inlets, that are compatible with any intake system. These inlets will not collapse or deform under vacuum. Our turbochargers are designed to move a lot of air at lower boost levels, which means you can make some serious power without over-speeding the turbos, which means reliable performance. Optimal boost levels are 24-25psi with approximately 85-88% WGDC. This must be confirmed by your tuner and adjusted, depending on your build.
