Note: Not all N63B and S63M applications use the same ignition coil. Many S63B44T4/S63M applications—including the F90 M5 and F91/F92/F93 M8—use the older "N Series" ignition coil architecture. Every 60-80,000 miles, we recommend replacing your spark plugs to ensure your ignition system is running optimally. Over time carbon can build up around the head of the spark plug and decrease spark strength and effectiveness, leading to weaker fuel mixture detonation, misfires, and potential check engine lights.
