Differential Bushings can vastly change the feel of your BMW. While you may notice a slight increase in NVH, upgrading your differential bushings will give your rear end a more planted feel that you can't put a price on.
Soft bushings are the enemy of launching hard, and keeping your drivetrain together. The BMW Transfer Case bushings are notoriously soft, and that is the opposite of what you want when launching a car hard. You can replace the bushing with a solid one, but this is time-consuming usually requires lowering or removing the transfer case, and results in a lot of added NVH. The best path is simply to reduce the amount of flex of the factory bushing so you keep the nice manners when cruising around town, and at idle, but when its time to the launch the transfer case cannot move as it could without the insert. These come as a set of two with 2 bolts to keep them in place. Install time once you get to them is about 2-3 minutes. Could not be easier. Put some lube on them, push them in, and tighten the screws. These are a MUST for high-power G8X, and F9X X3/X4M Builds. All platforms they fit are below.
