Timing Service Kits

Timing chain guides are a main failure point in the otherwise bulletproof M62. Common symptoms of failure include excessive vibration or “slap” from the timing chain, and the possibility of plastic particles throughout the oil. Symptoms typically begin to surface between 80,000 and 100,000 miles. If left untouched, the issue can compound itself so far as to allow the timing chain to jump out of time, leaving you with a potentially damaged head and larger repair costs.

This kit has been assembled using genuine BMW components. From new timing chain guides to a replacement oil pan drain plug, this kit has you covered to assure that all the needed parts are on hand and ready to install.

Kit includes:

• All required Gaskets and seals

• Camshaft timing chain tensioners with retaining clips

• Timing chain chain tensioner for crankshaft to camshaft with sealing washer

• Timing chain guide rails

• Water pump hose o-rings

• Fan shroud rivets

• Oil separator valve

• Timing chain – Crankshaft to camshafts without master link

• Genuine BMW parts: Ensures long-lasting durability and optimal fitment for your BMW N52 engine.
• Complete solution: Includes spark plugs, timing chain, guides, tensioners, gaskets, and fluids.

BMW N62 4.4L Timing Chain Kit is essential for maintaining the longevity and performance of your engine. The timing chain guides on the N62 4.4L engine are known to be a common failure point, often leading to issues such as excessive vibration, chain "slap," and plastic particles contaminating the oil. These problems typically arise between 80,000 to 100,000 miles, and if left unattended, they can cause the timing chain to jump, resulting in costly engine damage.

This complete kit from Turner Motorsport includes genuine BMW components, ensuring you have everything you need for a proper and reliable timing chain service.

Benefits:

• Prevents Major Engine Damage: Avoid the risk of the timing chain jumping, which can lead to costly engine repairs.
• Comprehensive Kit: Includes all necessary components, such as timing chain guides and oil pan drain plug, for a complete service.
• OEM Quality: Genuine BMW parts ensure long-lasting reliability and optimal performance.
• Restores Engine Smoothness: Replaces worn guides to eliminate vibration and timing chain "slap."
