Upgrade your MINI with the M7 Oil Catch Can Kit__xxSTARTxx__/h1

The newly updated R55 through R57 Oil Catch Can kit for MINIs equipped with the N14 engine comes with a "designed-to-fit" stainless steel bracket, mounting hardware and pre-assembled hoses. Installation is super easy...no drilling and no special tools are needed. NOTE: This kit has been redesigned to fit on the firewall directly behind the outlet of the airbox. It uses the factory tab located on the firewall."Forum experts and social hysteria" say an OCC is not needed but we beg to differ. Why do so many MINI owners suffer from carbon buildup on their intake valve? The answer is oil being recycled through the intake tract to be burned. With the M7 Oil Catch Can, your MINI Cooper's engine will be protected from excessive oil and hydrocarbon buildup which leads to performance-hindering oil film and sludge along your intake tract, on your engine control sensors and on your engine's intake valves. Because the 2007 & up MINI is direct injection the intake valves do not benefit from the cleaning action provided by the gasoline as in older port injection engines. Now all the oil blow-by burns onto the intake valves and builds up into a flow choking hydrocarbon mess. The end result is loss of power and a very expensive repair bill. This oil film & sludge can appear in other critical places throughout the engine-- such as the intercooler-- where clean surfaces are critical for maximized heat transfer and on your MAF sensor (Mass Air Flow) where the film will cause the sensor to send a false signal to your ECU killing performance.

By capturing excess oil vapor and particles, the M7 Oil Catch Can ensures that oil film and sludge will not become a factor in your vehicle's performance. If you don't think your engine is pumping oil back through your intake system, remove the breather tube and look at all the oil!. The breather tube connects directly to you intake hose and directs this oily mess back through your engine to be burned.

Now with our exclusive "Exact-Fit" pre-assembled hose kit and brackets installation is super-easy.

Features:

• Pre-assembled hose assemblies.
• Stainless steel bracket and mounting hardware
• Eliminate intake tract oil contamination and intake valve damage.
• Prevent pre-mature sensor failure
• Keep engine performance at peak levels
• Billet Aluminum Construction
• Bright Black Anodized Finish
• Laser Etched M7 Logo

The M7 Oil Catch Can is not only functional is a work of automotive performance ART! It is CNC machined from billet aluminum and adds a sharp look to your engine compartment.

All hoses, brackets, clamps, necessary fittings and easy to follow detailed step-by-step instructions are available on this page in .PDF format. The design includes an oil drain plug and an easy to view sight tube which indicated the oil level within the can. The hoses are high quality "Made in the USA" automotive grade designed to withstand the rigors of the under-hood environment and to not degrade when exposed to oil. Beware of other "low cost" catch can systems that use silicone hoses because oil and silicone are not compatible. Silicone hoses will will eventually deteriorate and make an absolute mess of your engine compartment.

K&P Engineering High Performance Stainless Steel Micronic Oil Filter w/ Machine Finished End Caps is an advanced solution for superior oil filtration in automotive applications. This filter is designed to offer exceptional protection against oil contamination, ensuring optimal engine performance and longevity.

• High-Quality Stainless Steel Construction: Made from medical-grade type 304 stainless steel micronic filter cloth, which filters down to 35 microns and provides a high flow rate of 1.9 gallons per minute per square inch.
• Cleanable and Reusable: Unlike paper filters, this stainless steel filter can be washed and reused, offering both cost savings and environmental benefits.
• Consistent Filtration: Delivers reliable filtering performance across the entire filter surface, maintaining engine protection.
• Superior Filtration Performance: Achieves excellent ASTMF316 filtration standards and includes magnetic prefiltering to capture metallic particles.
• Billet Aluminum Filter Case: Acts as an oil cooler (where applicable) and adds durability.
• Progressive Rate Bypass: Combined with high flow characteristics, this feature prevents unfiltered oil from bypassing the filter during cold starts and high RPMs.
• Easy Contamination Inspection: Allows for straightforward inspection of engine contamination levels.
• Proven Track Record: Trusted in motorsports, military, and aerospace applications.

Please note: For older caged-type filters, a newer filter housing is required. Ensure the larger hole insert is installed on the housing cap for proper fitment.

Upgrade your BMW MINI Cooper S with the M7 Oil Catch Can, designed to protect your engine by separating oil vapors from the crankcase air. This efficient system prevents oil contamination in the intake system, ensuring peak performance and preserving critical components.

Key Benefits:

• Oil Vapor Separation: Prevent excessive oil vapor from affecting the intake system, intercooler, and sensors, maintaining optimal performance.
• Protection from Contamination: Eliminate oil buildup in the intercooler and prevent damage to intake valves, ensuring efficient cooling of the compressed intake charge.
• Sensor and Component Preservation: Avoid premature sensor failure and sustain engine performance by preventing oil-related issues.
• Durable Construction: CNC machined from billet aluminum for both functionality and an aesthetic enhancement to your engine compartment.
• Multiple Finish Options: Choose from Silver, Black, or the new Carbon Fiber with billet bright aluminum top and bottom for a customized look.

This catch can is an easy DIY installation project, featuring high-quality "Made in the USA" automotive-grade hoses, ensuring durability and compatibility with oil exposure.
