Clinched Fender Flares: Versatile and Impact-Resistant

Clinched Flares are installed using rivets and bolts, requiring drilling and cutting of the original fenders for installation. Heat the flares with a heat gun or hair dryer to mold them precisely along the factory body lines. Using single piece construction, the carbon is laid inside of a mold instead of being wrapped around it. This allows for a much stronger piece in the end and allows much greater control when the resin is applied. Areas such as door hinges, hood latches and window regulator mounting points are reinforced so as to add strength and longevity through repeated use. Application of the resin is then accomplished using proprietary techniques that allow for a much more uniform coating than most competitors and yields a product that is lighter, since there is no excess.

Finally the product is finished with a glossy clear coat this resists chipping and cracking and gives a glossy wet look. Inspection of the finished product is then performed to ensure there is no weave distortion in tight corners or complex bends.

The Verus Engineering Carbon Polyweave Side Splitter Kit completes the aerodynamic appearance of your BMW G87 M2. These units were designed specifically to flow with the factory side-splitter and feature a horizontal member which reduces the amount of high-pressure air making its way to the bottom side of the vehicle. This high-pressure air produces lift, and by reducing this, we reduce lift on the chassis. This is specifically prevalent while the vehicle is in yaw or while turning.

The side splitters are constructed from a very strong and durable carbon thermoplastic (Carbon Polyweave). This offers the exotic appearance and strength of carbon, with the durability of plastic. The units will be able to withstand impacts much better than carbon fiber.
