BMW Engine Parts

Rogue Engineering has developed a power pulley kit that reduces the drag on specific pulleys while allowing others to remain at their same efficiency. This allows for perfect operation in daily driven vehicles without a hiccup or stutter. However, when the demand for power is requested, the power pulley kit allows for the freed power to become apparent.  The term "power" pulley is a bit of a misnomer. Underdrive pulleys actually free up power by reducing the drag caused by the accessories.  These pulleys are based off a calculated percentage from factory dimensions, so that particular component speeds are safely reduced without affecting their true purpose.

Rogue Engineering Power Pullies are CNC machined from 6061-T6, heat treated aluminum and specially coated with a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize finish. This kind of anodizing is not to be confused with a Type II cosmetic anodize finish (typical colors such as red, blue, silver, green, etc.). The hard coat anodize finish actually builds a small surface layer on top of the aluminum, preventing wear.

This part fits the following BMW engines:

If your N52 engine is running rough, is low on power, or you are getting check engine lights for timing related issues, there is a good chance that you have a faulty VANOS component. The two most common parts to fail are the Camshaft Adjusters and VANOS Solenoids.

This repair kit from Vaico includes all of the basic parts necessary to service the VANOS system and restore smooth engine operation.

Included:

Intake Camshaft Adjuster w/ Impulse Wheel

Exhaust Camshaft Adjuster w/ Impulse Wheel

Camshaft Adjuster Bolts

VANOS Solenoid Valves

Valve Cover Gasket Set

From the factory, all BMWs utilize soft rubber or fluid-filled engine mounts. Not only are these mounts prone to degradation, they also allow ample movement of the drivetrain. This translates to looseness in your driveline, commonly associated with missed shifts and a generally isolated feeling.

To improve upon this issue, Black Forest Industries designed these upgraded mounts from the ground up. Their stage one mounts feature a proprietary 85A durometer bushing and bracket/cup design. Maximizing bushing area while minimizing vibration gives this mount the advantage of having the best ride characteristics possible from a urethane mount.

Features:

Perfect fit: Utilizing laser-scanning technology permits seamless integration with the factory engine mount arms. Quality tooling: All bosses are matched replicas with stock locations, and all tool clearances and specs are maintained. Heavy-duty construction: The use of billet aluminum instead of cast creates a mount that is dramatically stronger than its factory cast-construction counterpart. Performance design: 85A durometer bushings are geared toward the spirited driving enthusiast who doesn't mind increasing NVH. Choose BFI Stage 2 for a quality mount that eliminates drivetrain movement.

Note: Stage 2 mounts increase NVH. Therefore, these mounts are not intended to be used on daily driven vehicles.

Ferrea valve springs are developed from high strength alloys, including premium grade chrome silicone steel These springs are manufactured with state-of-the-art equipment. Ferrea springs are heat-treated and stress-relieved, which dramatically increases the spring's life. Strict quality control procedures and cycle testing ensures consistency from batch to batch. Ferrea valve springs provide the stability needed for high lift, high rpm racing and street car engines. Kit includes a set of 24 springs. MUST be used with the Ferrea Spring Seat and Titanium Retainers. See links below.
