BMW Fuel System Parts

For your Mini's fuel system, the fuel injection pressure sensor is crucial. However, it may occasionally malfunction. This component plays a key role in determining fuel pressure within the system. If it fails, it can affect engine performance and fuel efficiency. Replacing this sensor is essential to maintain optimal fuel delivery and engine functionality.

A failing fuel pump has many potential symptoms, including:

hard starting cold or after a heat soak
an illuminated check engine light
engine misfire under load or when cold
stalling
no-start.

This OEM Bosch in-tank fuel pump includes the pump and inlet strainer. This can be replaced easily by accessing the top of the fuel tank beneath the rear seat, no need to drop the fuel tank.

This part does not include the fuel level sensor. The fuel level sensor can be reused from the original fuel pump or a new sensor can be purchased under T#392738.

Our kit is entirely plug-and-play with the factory vehicle harness. No cutting or splicing of OEM wiring/connectors. It installs in minutes and can be removed without a trace on the car!

Our team used SolidWorks to design a Flow Optimized Flex Fuel Sensor Adapter (FFSA) to ensure fuel flow is unobstructed and with no added pressure drop at full fuel pump flow from the fuel tank to your motor when our kit is installed. This is important when pushing the factory fuel system with all the power Ethanol can provide over petrol!

Flex fuel sensor housing is designed to neatly install into the factory BMW fuel hat location.

Flex Fuel Sensor Adapter also contains two 1/8 NPT ports that allow installation of an auxiliary Fuel Pressure sensor for vehicles that don’t come with an OEM one from the factory for future use. Depending on fitment, either port can be used.
