If you're looking for a bit more volume from your 235i exhaust, this piece will delete the factory resonator ahead of the muffler. It can be used on its own or in combination with the Supersprint performance muffler. Either way, more of the N20 engine and turbo will be heard. This pipe is made from 304 stainless steel and mandrel bent. Helping improve airflow is the larger 76mm diameter pipe.

With less restriction creating better flow, and relocating the catalytic converters, Supersprint has been able to gain an additional 21hp and 38ft-lbs of torque. They've even patented their tubular header and collector design. These are a direct bolt on to the N62 engine and are designed to be used with the Supersprint metallic sport cats or as a cat-less system (straight pipes). Other pieces are recommended or required.

The Supersprint rear muffler fits to the stock center exhaust and produces a sportier, slightly more aggressive exhaust note than the stock exhaust. With the stock muffler, the engine noise is dampened a lot. But if you're an enthusiast who wants to accent the 7-series with more sport then this muffler is the perfect touch. The Supersprint muffler is all stainless steel and uses a much freer flowing design to make the exhaust louder and is tuned for a more exciting sound. It's not as big of a change on the Alpina model as that came with a sports muffler already. But there is still a modest sound change as well as torque and power improvements thanks to the less restrictive flow.
