Supersprint sport cats for the F10 M5 are designed to work with their cat-less downpipes. The Supersprint sport cats are much freer-flowing than a factory-style ceramic cat. With less restriction, less effort is required to move the exhaust gasses which will free up horsepower and torque (and helps the turbos last longer). This cat section will mount to the Supersprint downpipes and then to a Supersprint center pipe. These are built with O2 sensor bungs pre-installed after the cat if you wanted to extend your stock post-cat O2 sensors (however, special software may still be needed).

Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

This full Supersprint exhaust for the V8 645ci and 650i will punch up the sound to give your car a more athletic and sporting experience. The stock system incorporates a muffler and two sets of resonators and is very good at keeping engine noise at luxury-car levels but if you've wanted more of that V8 growl to come through this Supersprint system should be just right. This system features a free-flowing stainless steel sport muffler matched with stainless pipes from the headers back to eliminate both sets of resonators. Without the resonators and with less restrictive mufflers, more of that glorious V8 engine sound can be heard. And less restrictions in the exhaust mean the engine is working less to move exhaust gas and that means a substantial increase in torque and horsepower.

These Supersprint mufflers enhance the athletic side of the M5's personality without going too far. With a freer-flowing design there is more of that exhaust pop and rumble coming to the cabin, reminding you that this is a BMW Motorsport vehicle and not a luxury cruiser. These mufflers are more subdued than the race version with a great sound and no dramatic side effects. You hear the exhaust when you want to but it's composed and smooth when you don't want to advertise. A moderate increase in torque and horsepower from less restriction is a nice bonus. These mufflers are clamped in place of the stock mufflers, making for a straight forward and simple install. Supersprint's tubular stainless headers for the X5 4.8 N62 engine replace the very restrictive stock manifolds and cats. With less restriction creating better flow, and relocating the catalytic converters, Supersprint has been able to gain an additional 21hp and 38ft-lbs of torque. They've even patented their tubular header and collector design. These are a direct bolt on to the N62 engine and are designed to be used with the Supersprint metallic sport cats or as a cat-less system (straight pipes). Other pieces are recommended or required.

Placing resonators after cat-less downpipes will help tune the sound from the S63TU engine. By removing the factory catted downpipes you're removing a large sound muffler as well and adding resonators can help tone down the open exhaust. This Supersprint resonator is for the left side of section 1 of the exhaust. It is full stainless steel with a mandrel bent pipe for optimized exhaust flow. The rear of the 335i and M3 have a very distinctive appearance thanks to their dual exhaust outlets. But the 328i models were equipped with the traditional and plain left rear outlet. With this Supersprint dual exhaust upgrade your 328i or 328xi can also benefit from this muscular and athletic exhaust look. The US E92 328i exhaust is unique to the US market and that has left a void for performance exhaust options. The European exhaust has different components and layout but the Supersprint Euro exhaust can be fitted to US cars. It consists of a stainless performance muffler and stainless center resonator that is clamped to the stock E92 secondary cat (or remove the cat with the Supersprint section 1 straight pipes). This makes for an excellent replacement exhaust system because the sound is sporty but refined and not too loud. It's a muted growl and throaty sound without being overly aggressive.

Fitment Notes: This system adds an additional pair of tips to the passenger side of the vehicle. Minor trimming of the rear bumper required to match the driver's side is required. Because this system uses parts that are not normally installed on the US exhaust some additional installation and fitment work is required. But the Euro and US cars share all of the same attachment points and hangers and this is the correct system for the Euro 330 coupe (called a 328 in the US market). Our kit includes the Euro installation hardware and gasket.

If you're looking for a bit more volume from your 235i exhaust, this piece will delete the factory resonator ahead of the muffler. It can be used on its own or in combination with the Supersprint performance muffler. Either way, more of the N20 engine and turbo will be heard. This pipe is made from 304 stainless steel and mandrel bent. Helping improve airflow is the larger 76mm diameter pipe.

Supersprint sport cats for the E60 545i/550i are designed to work with their cat-less headers. The Supersprint sport cats are much freer-flowing than a traditional stock cat. With less restriction, less effort is required to move the exhaust gasses which will free up horsepower and torque. This cat section will mount to the Supersprint headers (p/n 788901) and to any section 2 of the exhaust. This section is built with O2 sensor bungs pre-installed after the cat if you wanted to extend your stock post-cat O2 sensors (however, special software may still be needed).

This resonator fits in front of the muffler and takes the place of the stock resonator. With larger 76mm piping and a Supersprint resonator tuned for the rest of the exhaust, this section flows better than the original. The resonator keeps the engine noise from being excessively loud (a requirement for European noise regulations) but if more sound is desired a non-resonated section is also available.
