The Supersprint performance mufflers will add a little more sizzle and punch to the sound of your F10 M5. These are a stainless free-flowing muffler set that slips on in place of the factory mufflers. They have been tuned by Supersprint to add a bit more sporty and ripping sound, especially at idle, by opening up the passageways in the mufflers and doing away with the vacuum operated flapper valves. All E39 fitment note: the fitment of this muffler is designed for the stock E39 rear bumper. The tips will sit below the bumper line. Supersprint produces a different muffler for the 540i M-Sport rear bumper (Supersprint #785926).
525i/530i fitment note: the Supersprint section 2 resonator-delete is used for all 6-cylinder E39 but the factory center resonator is different for the 525i/530i models. Instead of a slip-fit or clamp-on connection it must be welded at an existing seam on the exhaust. The whole exhaust must be removed for this installation. Refer to this image for an illustration. This does not apply if you're only installing the muffler (with small connecting pipe).
