Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Stock rubber control arm bushings give a disconnected and mushy feel to the front suspension, especially when worn, as the bushing deflects more than it should. You get sloppy steering, vibrations, and poor handling which makes the car feel unstable. These urethane bushings are stiffer than stock rubber and will not deflect as much. This helps keep the alignment in check with less variation. The car feels more planted and confidence-inspiring. And a lifetime warranty means you'll likely never have to pay for another bushing ever again! Powerflex polyurethane subframe bushings are firmer than OEM bushings, resulting in better handling, a more planted rear-end, and more efficient suspension articulation - all with minimal sacrifice to ride quality. Powerflex is the number one selling suspension bushing manufacturer in Europe. Their experience with polyurethane bushing material and state-of-the art manufacturing techniques allows them to produce premium performance bushings, made to exact-fit standards. Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings are built to last longer than OEM rubber bushings, while improving performance and allowing for a more engaging driving experience. Use of Powerflex Copper Grease PCG1 is recommended for ease of installation. Periodic reapplication is recommended to extend squeak-free service life of bushings. Powerflex is proud to offer a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser on all products.

Swapping in E46 control arms into your E30 or E36 will significantly increase negative camber by widening the track width and will also give you more clearance for more steering angle. Condor's conversion bushings are machined from UHMW due to its high rigidity and low coefficient of friction allowing for minimal suspension bushing deflection (geometry change). They've designed them offset to re-center the wheel and give your e30/e36 the correct caster. They will include a stainless-steel insert that tightly presses over the hex pattern on the E46 control arms. You do not need to grind down your control arms or make any other modifications to your chassis. Please note that you will need to use E36 outer tie rods and E90 inner tie rods when installing in an E30 or E36.

Fitment:
Fits the following Meyle and Lemforder arms with 21-22MM Hex.

LEMFORDER ZHP - 31122282121 & 31122282122
LEMFORDER - 31126777851 & 31126777852
MEYLE HD - 31126777851 & 31126777852
*Please note that Meyle makes a standard e46 control arm and a Heavy Duty control arm. SOME HD arms have a hex that is larger in size. These HD control arms may need to be shaved 1-2 mm for proper fitment.

MADE IN THE USA. Rubber bushings found in the G8X’s rear upper arms are the last weak link in an otherwise rigid suspension. The original BMW bushings yield to cornering forces applied to the suspension, resulting in camber and toe change that is not ideal for performance driving. Fall Line’s kit replaces the soft upper control arm bushings with spherical bearings, enabling the rear suspension arms to move smoothly through their travel and giving the rear of a car a more solid, planted feel. The reduced geometry change allows for the car to retain its desired alignment, maintaining better control over the tire’s behavior under heavy load. Designed to replace the inner bushings of the rear upper control arms; BMW Part Numbers: 33322284777, 33329504611, and 33329504612. The BMW M cars feature a subframe that is directly mounted to the chassis by BMW M, to reduce suspension compliance and improve performance and driving feel. Similarly, the Fall Line upper control arm bearings rigidly mount the suspension arms to the subframe, increasing driver feedback, reducing geometry change, and improving performance. As with any elimination of suspension bushings, more feedback does equate to more road and suspension noise. While the Fall Line rear upper control arm bearings are a substantial performance improvement, please do be prepared for increased noise, vibration, and harshness after installing the parts. Product Details: DMG Mori 5-Axis CNC machined Full stainless bearing assembly (hats, bearing, housing, spiral locks) Price is per set of 4 (2 per side); designed to replace the inner bushings of the rear upper control arms (BMW Part Numbers: 33-32-2-284-777, 33-32-9-504-611, & 33-32-9-504-612)

For BMW E30, Z3, E21, and 2002 models, upgrading to adjustable rear trailing arm bushings from manufacturers like Powerflex offers both improved performance and the ability to fine-tune suspension alignment. These bushings are designed to replace the factory rubber bushings, which can degrade over time and lead to imprecise handling.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Adjustable Alignment: These adjustable rear trailing arm bushings allow you to modify rear toe and camber settings. This is crucial for fine-tuning the suspension for different driving styles, especially if the car is used in motorsport applications like track days or autocross, or if the car has been lowered and needs suspension corrections.
  • Superior Handling: By significantly reducing the play in the rear trailing arms, these bushings improve the car’s handling dynamics. They keep the rear suspension more rigid during acceleration, braking, and cornering, resulting in sharper, more predictable handling.
  • Polyurethane Durability: Unlike the OEM rubber bushings, which wear out over time due to heat, road grime, and chemicals, these adjustable bushings are made of durable polyurethane. This material resists aging, cracking, and wear, ensuring consistent performance over a longer period.
  • Reduced Deflection: Adjustable polyurethane bushings limit suspension deflection, allowing the vehicle to maintain optimal suspension geometry under load. This improves cornering performance and reduces body roll.
  • Longer Service Life: Polyurethane bushings are known for their longevity compared to rubber bushings, offering a "fit and forget" solution for car owners who want reduced maintenance and better overall reliability.

Installation and Adjustment:

  • Direct Fit Replacement: These bushings are designed as a direct replacement for the stock rubber bushings, offering the same fitment while adding adjustability. No major modifications are typically required, making installation easier for those familiar with suspension work.
  • Alignment Precision: Once installed, these bushings allow precise adjustments to the suspension alignment, which is ideal for correcting issues that arise from modifications like lowering the vehicle or installing performance suspension components.

Ideal for:

  • BMW E30 (3 Series)
  • BMW Z3
  • BMW E21 (3 Series)
  • BMW 2002

These adjustable rear trailing arm bushings are perfect for enthusiasts looking for more control over their vehicle’s alignment and handling, whether for street driving or performance applications. They offer a great balance of increased performance, durability, and adjustability without sacrificing daily driving comfort.

Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

These urethane performance bushings replace the stock rubber front upper control arm bushings on the 2006-2010 E60 525xi/528xi/530xi/535xi xDrive AWD models. Stock rubber control arm bushings give a disconnected and mushy feel to the front suspension, especially when worn as the bushing deflects more than it should. You get sloppy steering, vibrations, and poor handling which makes the car feel unstable. These urethane bushings are stiffer than stock rubber and will not deflect as much. This helps keep the alignment in check with less variation. The car feels more planted and confidence-inspiring. And a limited lifetime warranty means you'll likely never have to pay for another bushing ever again.

For BMW F10, F06, F12, and F13 xDrive owners seeking to maximize their vehicle's performance and handling, the Powerflex Front Lower Control Arm Inner Bushings are an essential upgrade. In this article, we'll explore the numerous benefits of integrating these bushings into your BMW xDrive, designed to elevate your driving experience and enhance control and road-handling capabilities. Enhanced Stability and Handling: BMW F10, F06, F12, and F13 xDrive models are already renowned for their impressive handling, and the Powerflex Front Lower Control Arm Inner Bushings take this to the next level. These bushings minimize sway and body roll during cornering, ensuring your vehicle remains stable and responsive, even when navigating sharp turns and curves. The result is a more confident and enjoyable driving experience. Superior Cornering Performance: One of the key advantages of these control arm inner bushings is their ability to optimize cornering performance. The Powerflex design offers increased rigidity, allowing for more precise and controlled cornering. Whether you're tackling winding mountain roads or pushing your BMW on a racetrack, you'll appreciate the improved grip and control these bushings deliver. Understeer Mitigation: Understeer is a common challenge for many vehicles, occurring when the front tires lose grip during a turn. Upgrading to Powerflex BMW F10/F06/F12/F13 xDrive Front Lower Control Arm Inner Bushings helps address this issue by redistributing the load more evenly between the front and rear tires. This results in better balance and control, ensuring your xDrive responds precisely to your commands in any situation. Longevity and Durability: Constructed with high-quality materials, these control arm inner bushings are designed to withstand the demands of daily driving and spirited performance. They reduce wear and tear on your suspension components, extending the lifespan of your BMW's control arm system and related parts. OE / OEM Cross Reference Numbers: 31126777743

For someone looking for superior performance and longevity these sealed monoball bushings are the best upper thrust bearing you can buy for an E82 1-series or E9X 3-series. The advantage of a monoball bearing is that it will not deflect under load. All of the rubber bushings move in all sorts of directions and that changes your alignment, especially when used with big brake kits or when driven hard. The condition worsens as the bushing wears out. The Dinan monoball sits in a CNC machined aluminum housing which has zero deflection. The monoball allows complete freedom of movement but only at the desired angles. What you get is superior steering precision, better handling from more consistent alignment, and almost infinite bushing life. And thanks to the inner liner and sealed rubber boots there's none of the extra noise or reduced service life of fully solid race bushings.

Replace your inner control arm bushings with performance Powerflex bushings to tighten up your control and improve stability. *Door Buster Special - New Product* This is a replacement part that uses the Black Series material to boost stiffness over the original part by 18% to withstand increased loading seen by this position on the car. If the control arm bushings on your vehicle are beginning to fail, it will become quickly apparent. Suspension noise will be drastically increased, there will be steering wheel shake when hitting road hazards, and the entire car will have an all around loose feel. This can also lead to premature tire failure as alignment is negatively affected. Replace your control arm bushings to give your entire suspension a tighter feel. Rattling over bumps, a loose feeling when driving, and play in the front wheels is the main indicator that your bushings may be failing. The stock rubber tends to get dry rotted, wear out, and cause play in the attachment point for the control arm. Replace yours when they wear out, or when replacing a control arm that didn't include these pieces.

Fall Line’s mono ball spherical bearing conversion kit transforms the rear suspension feel of the E46 and E36 M3. The factory rubber bushing is very large, and is prone to substantial deflection under load, as the M3 is put through its paces. Deflection of the bushing can create unwanted geometry change, steering wobble under braking, and even hysteresis of the thrust arm.

An underrated component of a proper driver's suspension the monoball kit (tension strut ball joint kit in today's terminology), is a remnant of an era when road feel was something desirable and sought after. Drivers wanted the visceral feel of being connected to the road as the road-racing heritage of BMW M demanded. Dinan embraced this and over the years mastered its craft into a kit that not only satisfied the desire for proper road feel but also made it livable for everyday driving. While stock suspension properties may have swayed from its golden era lineage to more mainstream ideals, Dinan is here to correct those mistakes for those that want a more M-passioned BMW experience. The Dinan Tension Strut Ball Joint Kit provides responsiveness you can feel by replacing the rubber bushings in the thrust arms with precision ball joints and machined aluminum housings. Improves responsiveness by eliminating the deflection inherent in the stock rubber bushings while also reducing brake shimmy. The quietest bearings on the market are virtually noise-free so you can live with them every day. They are also sealed using a rubber boot to keep out dirt and road grime stopping them from wearing out prematurely. Features: Improved steering responsiveness Reduces brake shimmy Nylon-lined bearings for quiet operation Machined aluminum housings Sealed bearings Compatible with both RWD and xDrive models
