The S85 engine has a known history of rod bearing failure. If your engine is higher mileage, don't let this catastrophic failure happen to you. Replace your rod bearings and prevent a spun bearing, a failure that has the potential to trash your crankshaft.

What is WPC, you ask? WPC is a surface treatment that reduces friction and adds strength - two improvements that benefit internal engine components. Ultra-fine particles are fired at the surface at very high speeds, like shot-peening - but much, much smaller. The parts come out smoother and stronger due to thermal discharge. The two largest enemies of any high-performance engine are heat and friction - and WPC has found a way to reduce both. What are you waiting for? Use WPC-treated bearings on your next engine build or rod bearing service!

Kit Includes:

Turner Motorsport "Race Series" WPC-Treated Rod Bearing Shells (20) Genuine BMW Connecting Rod Bolts (20) OEM MANN Oil Filter Kit Castrol Edge Euro Car Engine Oil (10w-60) - 9 Quarts Genuine BMW Oil Drain Plug Turner Oil Change Decal Elring Oil Pan Gasket Permatex Ultra Slick Engine Assembly Lube (4 oz.)

The S62 engine has a known history of rod bearing failure. If your engine is higher mileage, don't let this catastrophic failure happen to you. Replace your rod bearings and prevent a spun bearing, a failure that has the potential to trash your crankshaft.

Enhanced Durability: The WPC Performance Rod Bearing Replacement Kit is designed with superior materials and manufacturing processes. WPC treatment reinforces the surface of the bearings, making them highly resistant to wear, which is essential for high-revving engines like the S54. This durability ensures your engine will stand the test of time, even under strenuous driving conditions. Improved Performance: By reducing friction and wear, WPC-treated rod bearings allow for smoother and more efficient engine operation. This increases power and responsiveness, providing a more exhilarating driving experience. Whether tearing up the track or enjoying a spirited weekend drive, you'll notice a difference in your vehicle's performance. Precision Engineering: Crafted from premium quality materials, these bolts and bearings offer exceptional tensile strength and structural integrity. This guarantees that your connecting rods will stay securely in place, even during high-stress situations. Your engine's components will work in perfect harmony, minimizing the risk of catastrophic engine failure. Preventative Maintenance: The S54 is notorious for rod bearing failure, often necessitating complete short block replacement.
