This clutch kit features a Heavy Duty pressure plate and R4 racing clutch disc

The heavy duty pressure plate included offers a 20-50% clamp load increase, stock-moderate pedal feel, and heat treated diaphragms for increased strength and performance.
Next in this kit is the R4 racing clutch disc. This disc is an unsprung, rigid disc with 4 pads that is best suited for drag and road racing. The R4 pads are composed of ceramic friction materials and the disc has a chome-moly hub that is heat treated for additional strength under high load engagements. Over stock, this disc is much better for faster shifting and significantly higher torque loads. Unlike the stock disc, this racing disk has a slightly shortened life span due to its rigid design and pad composition. This in turn is offset thanks to its fast, aggressive engagement for track use.

This clutch kit features an Xtreme pressure plate, a Performance Street sprung clutch disc, and an XACT Streetlite Flywheel.
Their Xtreme pressure plate offers a 50-120% clamp load increase, moderate to heavy pedal feel, and is recommended for high performance street and racing applications. All diaphragms went through a four stage heating process for increased strength and unparalleled performance.
Next in this kit is the Performance Street clutch disc. This is the most popular sprung clutch disc and features high quality organic friction material with a high copper content for improved heat transfer and a steel backed lining for increased strength in burst load circumstances. This organic clutch disc has a significantly higher torque capacity than a stock disc but still retains a long life span and operates quietly and reliably.
The final main component is the XACT Streetlite Flywheel. This option is the most popular thanks to it versatility for street driving and drag/track style racing, its lighter weight for increased throttle response, and its single mass design.
Clutch Kit Specs:
BMW E46 E39 Z3 Stage 2 Endurance Clutch Kit is designed for drivers who demand both precision and durability in high-performance scenarios. Developed by Turner Motorsport, this endurance clutch kit delivers seamless power transfer and quick shifts, making it ideal for both daily driving and intense racing environments. It features an SFI-approved single mass flywheel, which is highly recommended for optimal performance.
This clutch package is built to handle heavily modified cars and designed to function according to the specific needs of the 1/4 and 1/8 mile track. The pressure plate for this kit is SFI approved Race Cover engineered to disengage with less pedal travel shortening the shift time. Discs are a puck design, which reduces rotational mass and are assembled with all high carbon component pieces for maximum strength. The friction material used is Graphite impregnated Ceramic perfectly suited for drag racing because of its maximum friction co-efficient, rapid heat dissipation and abrupt engagement characteristics.
