On M52/S52-equipped BMWs, the factory crankcase ventilation (CCV) system is a notorious weak link. Between brittle plastic corrugated hoses that crumble from heat soak and an internal cyclone diaphragm prone to tearing, a failing CCV leads to massive oil consumption, vacuum leaks, and that dreaded "howling" whistle.

BMW N63 4.4L Vent Pipe

The BMW N63 4.4L Vent Pipe addresses common issues with oil separators freezing in cold weather conditions. This problem often occurs if the vehicle is driven before it is fully warmed up, leading to a howling noise and multiple oil leaks. The crankcase breather valve in the vent pipe purges oil vapor from the engine block into the valve cover. The VTT PCV Flapper delete is used to get rid of the factory flapper, and add a -10 fitting on N54 powered vehicles. This will allow you to run a single or dual external catch can, or your own custom set up.

This fitting is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum anodized black and comes with O-ring, and a stainless steel holding clip.
