Vanos System

This Valvetronic variable valve timing actuator is designed to optimize engine performance by adjusting the eccentric shaft, effectively increasing or decreasing valve lift and duration as needed. By dynamically controlling valve timing, it enhances power delivery, fuel efficiency, and overall driving performance.

A failing actuator can lead to noticeable power loss, reduced performance, and an illuminated check engine light. Restore your BMW's performance with this premium replacement from Bremmen Parts, designed to meet or exceed OE specifications.

Features:

Exact Fitment: Engineered to perfectly match your BMW’s specifications for seamless installation. Durable Construction: Built with high-strength materials to resist engine heat, vibration, and wear. Precision Manufacturing: Designed to OE dimensions for accurate clearances and alignment. Optimal Performance: Restores proper timing and functionality at all engine speeds. Get your BMW back on the road with reliable performance and confidence.

This solenoid valve controls variable camshaft timing, a common point of failure on aging, high-mileage engines.

When the SOLV fails or begins to function erratically, your vehicle may display fault codes such as 2A9A (Cam sensor, inlet signal invalid for synchronization) or 2A9B (exhaust camshaft sensor signal invalid for synchronization). This can cause poor operation, or even cause "limp mode".

Bremmen Parts offers a cost-effective solution for this issue. This high-quality, OE-replacement Solenoid Valve solves engine fault codes and ensures proper powertrain performance.

Features:

Regulates variable camshaft timing for optimized engine performance. Affordable OE-replacement option without compromising quality or functionality. Eliminates fault codes caused by a faulty SOLV, remedying limp mode operation. Features durable construction, built to withstand the demands of high-mileage engines. Designed for perfect fit and functionality. Includes sealing o-ring and electrical plug.

If your N52 engine is running rough, is low on power, or you are getting check engine lights for timing related issues, there is a good chance that you have a faulty VANOS component. The two most common parts to fail are the Camshaft Adjusters and VANOS Solenoids.

This repair kit from Vaico includes all of the basic parts necessary to service the VANOS system and restore smooth engine operation.

Included:

Intake Camshaft Adjuster w/ Impulse Wheel

Exhaust Camshaft Adjuster w/ Impulse Wheel

Camshaft Adjuster Bolts

VANOS Solenoid Valves

Valve Cover Gasket Set

Rubber seals are often hardened and damaged by excessive heat and constant temperature changes causing them to become brittle and crack or split. If your seal has split, replace it with a new Elring seal for long reliability and to prevent further problems.

Elring is one of the biggest OEM names in the manufacturing of high quality gaskets that are available for very affordable prices. Elring has supplied many automotive names for years with the gaskets that seal your car's components from day 1 so you can rest assured that these components will last for a long time to come!

Fits the following BMW's:
E60, E61, E70, E82, E83, E88, E85 E86 E89 Z4, E9X, F01, F02, F07, F10

Fits the following Engines:
N52 N54 N55 S65 N63

The impulse sending wheel, located on both the intake and exhaust camshaft adjustment units, provides critical timing data to the camshaft position sensor, keeping your VANOS system synchronized. A worn or malfunctioning impulse sender can cause a myriad of performance issues, including hard starts and rough idle.

Whether you are performing a proactive timing system overhaul or addressing a component failure, Bremmen Parts offers a high-quality replacement designed for a precise fit and long-term durability.
