The M3 control arm upgrade is for people who want a very serious change in the ride/handling of the car. These are the factory OEM E9X M3 upper control arms, so the ride will not be much different than a standard M3. But it is a very large jump compared to the stock E9X arms and bushings, since they are not fluid-filled and have a harder rubber compound than the stock or Meyle HD bushings. This right/passenger's front upper control arm - also know as a tension strut or thrust arm. This is the control arm with the outer ball joint pointing down. This is the OEM replacement and fits all non-Xi BMW E90 E92 E93 325i 328i 330i 335i models, E82 128i 135i, and E89 Z4. This control arm includes the inner pressed in bushing and outer ball joint. Over the years, the road takes a serious toll on your suspension. Potholes, speed bumps, and road hazards all contribute to a sloppy, weak suspension. To give a better feel to your driving experience and improve safety and ride comfort, replace suspension components as they wear. After years of service, non-serviceable ball joints and other components begin to wear out. Because some components cannot be replaced, the only solution is the replacement of the entire arm. This OEM TRW kit includes all four front control arms for the E9X M3 / E82 1M. Replacing all four at once will provide the most service life out of replacement parts and ensure they are all performing properly. This kit also includes a front replacement headlight level sensor rod, which should be replaced any time the control arms are replaced on Xenon (HID) headlight-equipped models.
