Ohlins' latest automotive suspension system, the DFV (Dual Flow Valve) Road and Track Coilover Kit, has bridged the gap between comfortable stock suspension and track focused coilover kits. These kits provide a ride that glides over typical bumps and dips in the road, all without the typical hard rattle and harsh feel of usual coilovers, and turn in tight and maintain tire grip and traction in corners significantly better than stock suspension ever could. This is all thanks to the spring rate chosen and Ohlins and their signature Dual Flow Valve. The DFV maintains comfort and agility by giving the same characteristics for both rebound and compression, allowing the wheel and tire to maintain constant contact with the road/track for maximum control. These are the best rear shock mounts that we have found for the E30, E36, E46, Z3 & E85 Z4! Featuring CNC-machined billet aluminum mounting base with a replaceable urethane bushing (replacement bushings are just $15 and are changed in minutes!). These mounts are excellent for either street or track because of their low NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). Plus, the superior design will far outlast the life of stock mounts - maybe even the car itself. You'll never think twice about your shock mounts again! These shock mounts are a direct replacement of the stock mounts so they fit all shocks with the BMW-standard 10mm shock shaft, including all factory and OEM shocks (Boge, Sachs, etc), H&R coil overs, Bilstein shocks and PSS, PSS9, PSS10 coil overs (except the B16 Ride Control Kit). These front adjustable camber/caster plates will replace your stock front upper strut bearing. The KMAC plates are a 'floating' design so camber and caster are adjusted together. This design allows maximum range of adjustment since no other hardware interferes with the adjustments. Since these replace your stock strut bearings they are designed to work with a stock-type spring only. And when installed correctly will not significantly alter ride height. Adjustment is easily done by loosening the three nuts on top of the tower and sliding the camber plate into the position you want, then re-tighten the nuts. These mounts can be installed two ways - for camber correction or swapped side-side for increasing negative camber. Detailed instructions included.

Note: suspensions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Turner Motorsport cannot be responsible for fitment issues caused by non-stock or specialized coil-over suspensions. As with any race-derived component, additonal fabrication may be required.

A 4-piece set of new OEM rear upper and lower shock mounts to complete your shock install or replace broken mounts (RSM). The top mounts on the shocks for the E82 1M and E90/E92/E93 M3 consist of 4 pieces. These are the mounts to fit a non-EDC suspension.

Rear Shock Mount (RSM) Kit consists of:
A. rear upper-top shock mounts, 33506771737
B. rear upper-middle shock mounts, 33506767010
C. rear upper-bottom shock mounts, 33506771738
D. rear upper supporting cup, 33526764418 (sits over bumpstop)
The lower mount on the 1M/M3 is integrated on the shock absorber.

That's a lot of rubber that takes constant deflecting and absorbing of cornering forces and impacts from bumps, potholes, etc. Replacing the RSMs is key to maintaining a quiet and comfortable ride. Price is for all 4 upper pieces.

Upper shock mounts and bearings are good to replace while replacing front shocks. It is easier and often less expensive to replace them preventatively than to have them fail shortly afterward and have to take apart the whole suspension a second time. This front shock tower bearing fits BMW E39 540i M5 and Z8.

It's also a good idea to replace the upper spring plate and bearing at the same time. Often, these bearings are worn out and should not be put back in the car. See below for the link to add these to order too.
