For the driver that demands the best out of their vehicle. The Dinan Adjustable Coil-Over Suspension was bred in the race lab but refined on the street for maximum versatility. No matter the environment, the traction that is awarded to the vehicle from the improved suspension will inspire newfound confidence when running at higher speeds. From the substantial reduction in body roll as well as reduction of dive under braking and squat under acceleration, Dinan guarantees you superior handling, performance, and comfort.

Dinan's design retains the superb factory electronic shocks but swaps the springs to a more aggressive, performance enhancing formula and implements threaded collars that allow the user to change the ride height themselves. While shorter, stiffer springs are commonplace in aftermarket suspensions and are a key element in reduction of body roll it is not a one size fits all approach. In the case of the G87 M2 where the vehicle has a penchant for oversteer, stiffening the rear springs would exacerbate the problem of the rear losing traction before the front when the platform is pushed to the limit. Dinan instead has opted to soften the rear spring rate as well as switch from the factory progressive rate rear to a dual rate spring setup. The combination increases predictability and compliancy, and in turn, provides better rear grip/road holding for a vehicle that needs both. The result is a sleek lowered stance that provides improved handling to go along with its stunning visual appearance. The springs combined with progressive bump stops and other components increase travel that allow the car to be lowered up to 1-1/8" in the front and over 2" inches in the rear. However, to retain the ride quality synonymous with Dinan suspension kits the recommended drop of 3/4" in front and rear is advised. For suspension connoisseurs, or those that are just simply very particular, suspension packers are included to fine-tune handling and comfort by changing the clearance of the progressive bump-stops --- something no respectable race car is without.

Contrary to the market norm, the Dinan G87 M2 kit is not a direct carryover from the G8x M3/M4 but a package independently developed to eke the most out of the M2 and the nuances that differ it from its larger siblings. The rear spring rates in particular on the smaller coupe are far more aggressive than those on the M3/M4 from the factory. This produces a stiffer, more uncomfortable ride than most are fond of beyond the racetrack. While utilizing the same rear springs as the Dinan M3/M4 kit is possible the rates would be substantially softer resulting in reduced stability in cornering and an increase in body roll. Instead, Dinan M2 rear springs are 13% softer than factory but still 10% stiffer than what the M3/M4 kit would offer so a more compliant and comfortable ride can be achieved while also retaining its sporty character and abilities.

NOTE: Due to the extensive lowering possible and the increased suspension travel, the installer must carefully evaluate tire clearance under all situations. Safety will be compromised if all precautions are not taken. Dinan is not responsible for any property damage or injury.

Features:

• Up to 1-1/8" of lowering in front and over 2" of lowering in back are possible depending on tire clearance but with diminished ride quality
• Dinan recommends a 3/4" drop in front and rear to maintain a civilized ride
• Up to 1" of lift in front and over 2" in back over stock are also possible
• Threaded collars allow easy and precise front & rear vehicle height adjustments
• Spring rates are 29% stiffer in front and 13% softer in the rear for increased predictability and compliancy
• Substantial reduction in body roll
• Dinan-spec progressive bump stops improve ride quality at lowered ride heights
• Included suspension packers allow adjustment of bump-stop clearance to fine-tune handling and comfort
• Components are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized for a sporty appearance as well as corrosion protection
• Stock upper spring mounts are utilized as well as spring isolators for quiet operation

M7 Strut Reinforcement Plates 53-510101 are the ultimate solution for MINI owners facing the common issue of strut tower mushrooming caused by heavy impacts from shocks and low aspect ratio tires. Over time, MINI's shock towers can develop a convex shape, disrupting suspension alignment and leading to a noticeable pull to one side. The M7 Strut Reinforcement Plates (SRPs) address this problem by reinforcing the sheet metal and shock top plate, creating a durable surface that resists bending, even during hard impacts.

Designed specifically for the R50 Base Model Cooper, the R52 Convertible, and the R53 Cooper S, these SRPs are an essential upgrade for any MINI enthusiast. Constructed from CNC machined billet aluminum and black anodized for durability, the 1/2" (13mm) thick plates cover the entire surface of the strut tower, distributing loads evenly and providing peace of mind.

Whether you drive your MINI daily or push it to the limits on the track, M7 Strut Reinforcement Plates offer a cost-effective preventative measure against expensive suspension repairs. Easy to install in less than 20 minutes, the SRPs use the stock nuts for mounting and come with instructions that also guide you through fixing existing mushrooming.

• Prevents strut tower mushrooming
• Constructed from CNC machined billet aluminum
• Black anodized for long-lasting durability
• Covers the entire strut tower surface
• Designed for R50, R52, and R53 MINI models
• Easy installation with stock nuts
• Made in the USA

Termed as a guide mount or front strut support, this vital component might be the source of those troublesome suspension noises such as squeaks or clunks as it wears over time. Serving for both passenger and driver sides, this mount attaches to the top of the strut, revealing the end thread when the spring and strut are compressed and locked. Professional installation is recommended. Compatible with EDC/DDC (Electronic Dampening Control) systems. FEBI, renowned as an OEM supplier, guarantees quality and compatibility.

Benefits:

• Reduces suspension noise (squeaks, clunks)
• Compatible with both passenger and driver sides
• Works with EDC/DDC systems
• Provided by FEBI, an OEM supplier
