Vargas has introduced their new Billet Power Steering pulleys for the N54 engine! A well-known issue with the N54 with Hydraulic power steering is the plastic pulley either hitting the subframe, or breaking on its own. This can result in the belt to be ejected from the pulley, and leave you stranded with no serpentine belt. This also increases the chance of sucking the belt into the engine through the front seal. Put an end to the dreaded plastic PS pulley issues with the VTT 100% Billet Aluminum PS pulley. These are constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodize in one of 4 colors (Black, Red, Blue, and Clear) for a great look, and long-lasting finish. These weigh 11oz, very close to the weight of a stock pulley, and are lighter than the cast aluminum versions on the market.

The idea of power pulleys is simple. The less effort the engine puts into running accessories such as the water pump, power steering, pump alternator etc., the more of that power can be used elsewhere - your wheels! These are the replacement drive belts used in our Turner Pulley Kit on the S85 V10 engine (E60 M5 and E63/E64 M6). These belts are shorter than the stock belt since our underdrive crank pulley is a larger diameter than stock. Because of the different lengths, you cannot use a stock belt with the Pulley Kit.
