APEX EC-7 18" Max Wdith Staggered Wheel Set -- 18x10" / 18x11"

You can't get much bigger than this on the E9X M3 and 1M! This is an extreme width set using a 10.0" ET25 in the front and an 11.0" ET25 in the rear. Fitting this wide of a wheel on the E9X M3 is not a direct bolt on and tire sizes must remain conservative. Max tire sizes used in testing were a 275/40 in the front and a 295/30 in the rear. Significant trimming of plastic fender liners and fender rolling is required, as well as a custom alignment (camber plates may be required). This is about as wide as you can go on the E9X M3. If you want to jam as much wheel into the fender as possible, with a stretched tire, this is the set for you.

These are a direct fit with no spacers or fender rolling required. We use an 8.5" ET45 on the front and a 9.5" ET58 on the rear. These wheels were designed specifically for the high offset required on the E82. Maintains stock-like handling characteristics, tires can only be rotated left to right. Maximizes both front and rear tire width. Staggered setups are recommended for highly tuned cars that need extra rear tire width in order to control their increased power output. Direct fit with stock suspension, lowering springs, and a variety of aftermarket coilovers. 5mm front spacers required for certain aftermarket suspensions. 245/35-18 front tires can fit with 5mm front spacers and approximately -1.5 degrees of camber or more. The original BMW center cap, TPMS sensors, and original lug bolts are all carried over from your original wheels (wheel bolts may vary if spacers are used). They come in a wide variety of diameter, width, and offset combinations which gives you multiple fitment and application opportunities. For street use we generally recommend a staggered setup with a rear wheel slightly wider than the front. For track and racing applications a square setup is desired with the same width in the front and rear. Wheel offsets may also vary based on the clearances and stance you wish to achieve. Refer to our image gallery for inspiration. If you'd like more input give us a call or e-mail and we'd be happy to go over the many options with you.

Note: careful consideration of wheel width, offset and tire sizing must be observed when choosing and installing larger wheels. Adding larger wheels may lead to rubbing on suspension components or bodywork. Wheel spacers, new alignment settings, inside fender modifications, or other adjustments may be required.
