BMW E36 328i, Z3 2.8 JB Racing Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel offers a significant performance upgrade by replacing the heavy stock steel flywheel with a much lighter aluminum version. This JB Racing flywheel is designed to deliver faster acceleration, improved throttle response, and enhanced overall performance for your BMW.

The modern stock flywheels are burdened with additional components meant to dampen vibrations, which unfortunately adds unnecessary weight. The JB Racing aluminum flywheel, weighing just 10.0 lbs compared to the stock 25.0 lbs, eliminates this excess mass, allowing more power to reach the wheels and reducing the energy wasted on spinning the flywheel. This JB Racing lightweight flywheel is a direct replacement for the stock flywheel and is compatible with the factory BMW organic clutch. The heavy duty pressure plate included offers a 20-50% clamp load increase, stock-moderate  pedal feel, and heat treated diaphragms for increased strength and performance.

Next in this kit is the G6 racing clutch disc. This disc is a sprung, 6-pad disc that is suited for high horsepower road and track style racing and is also better at handling higher heat versus the 4-pad version of this disc, the G4. The G6 pads are composed of ceramic friction materials and the disc has a chome-moly hub that is heat treated for additional strength under high load engagements. Also featured are heavy duty torsional springs that are rated for the clutch kit's expected uses. Over stock, this clutch kit has a much higher torque capacity and is better for quick shifting thanks to lower weight and inertia. Despite its ceramic racing style pads, this disc has great durability. In turn, these pads provide higher heat tolerances and faster, more aggressive clutch engagements.

The R6 pads are composed of ceramic friction materials and the disc has a chome-moly hub that is heat treated for additional strength under high load engagements. Over stock, this disc is much better for faster shifting and significantly higher torque loads. Unlike the stock disc, this racing disk has a slightly shortened life span due to its rigid design and pad composition. This in turn is offset thanks to its fast, aggressive engagement for track use.

The disc pad features high quality organic friction material with a high copper content for improved heat transfer and a steel backed lining for increased strength in burst load circumstances. This organic clutch disc has a significantly higher torque capacity than a stock disc but due to its rigid nature, may suffer from slightly increased spline wear over time.

Their Xtreme pressure plate offers a 50-120% clamp load increase, moderate to heavy pedal feel, and is recommended for high performance street and racing applications. All diaphragms went through a four stage heating process for increased strength and unparalleled performance.

The G6 clutch disc is a sprung, 6-pad racing disc that is recommended for high horsepower street and race us and is better at handling high heat than the 4-pad disc. Its material composition is high quality, ceramic friction materials and a heavy duty torsional dampening springs that are rate for this clutch disc's size and expected uses. It has an increased torque capacity, and is better for faster shifting with its low weight and inertia. Being a racing disc, it has good durability and its ceramic composition allows for high heat tolerances. It also has a fast, aggressive engagement in comparison to standard street-use clutch discs.

The XACT Streetlite Flywheel is their most popular flywheel as it is great for both street and drag racing.
