Upgrade your stock oil cooler thermostat for improved performance. Swap your factory 110-degree Celsius thermostat for a new 70-degree Celsius version for faster oil flow and extended temperature control. With oil temperatures reaching 230 degrees Fahrenheit by the time your factory thermostat opens, initiating oil flow at lower temperatures proves more effective than attempting to cool down already elevated temperatures.

Utilizing a factory-style thermostat, this upgrade can be used in all weather conditions and allows your engine to warm up properly, unlike thermostat bypass kits.

Every 60-80,000 miles, we recommend replacing your spark plugs to ensure your ignition system is running optimally. Over time carbon can build up around the head of the spark plug and decrease spark strength and effectiveness, leading to weaker fuel mixture detonation, misfires, and potential check engine lights. To prevent this, have put together our High-Performance Ignition Service Kits. These kits include new Bav Auto High-Performance Ignition Coils, new spark plugs, dielectric grease, and a BMW spark plug service label to keep track of when your spark plugs were replaced.

Bav Auto's Ignition coils feature core windings that have been modified to increase firepower and promote a faster, more efficient burn. This gives your BMW/MINI increased torque in the lower range of RPM and more horsepower in the upper range. Exact improvements depend on the current condition of your engine, but you'll definitely feel the difference. They'll also improve your fuel economy.

From 1974 to 2019, Bavarian Autosport was one of the premier vendors for BMW and MINI auto parts. We are happy to preserve the Bav Auto legacy by continuing to carry their high-quality products into the future. All Bav Auto parts will remain unchanged in design and sourced from the same OEM suppliers to ensure long-lasting reliability. We trust these parts, accessories, and upgrades so confidently that we back every Bavarian Autosport branded component with a 2-year warranty.

As a leading source of high-performance BMW parts and accessories since 1993, we at Turner Motorsport are honored to be the go-to supplier for tens of thousands of enthusiasts the world over. With over two decades of parts, service, and racing experience under our belt, we provide only quality performance and replacement parts. Oil leaks from the valve cover are a common issue on high-mileage S55 engines and should be addressed before they lead to bigger problems. Repeated heat cycles can cause the original plastic valve cover and gasket to warp, crack, or lose their seal over time. This Bremmen aluminum valve cover for the BMW S55 engine is a premium upgraded replacement, engineered for superior strength and longevity. Featuring a durable aluminum housing and an integrated PCV system, it offers a reliable, direct-fit solution to replace the factory valve cover and restore proper engine sealing.

Features pre-installed valve cover gasket and integrated PCV. Without oil cap!

When your CPV O-ring fails it causes a slow oil leak on the passenger side of the engine, making an oily mess that frequently resembles a rear main seal leak. Replacing the CPV with an upgraded o-ring ensures a long-term solution to this common problem.

The factory o-ring over time fails from heat cycling and oil exposure due to the Buna rubber used in OEM o-rings, while the included Viton Fluoroelastomer is resistant to a much higher temperature to ensure prolonged life without leaking.
