BMW Engine Parts

BMW's Single-VANOS M52 and S52 engines were equipped with plastic valve covers from the factory. Nearing thirty years post-production, this material choice has proven to be problematic. Due to years of exposure to extreme engine temperatures and chemical-rich engine oil, these plastic valve covers will eventually warp. This results in a valve cover that will not seal, requiring a complete replacement of both the plastic valve cover and associated gaskets.

To remedy this, many enthusiasts opt to swap for the magnesium valve cover found on M50 and S50 engines. Unfortunately, magnesium is no less resistant to heat-induced warpage than plastic.

Thankfully, Bremmen Parts is aware of these issues and has created an exact-fit, high-quality performance replacement for all Single-VANOS M52 and S52-equipped BMWs. This cover features durable aluminum construction, which eliminates the warping issue found on OE plastic and magnesium valve covers. Unlike the OE magnesium cover upgrade, Bremmen's aluminum cover retains the forward oil fill location found, allowing you to retain your existing engine beauty cover.

Whether you're replacing a warping plastic cover or preemptively replacing this failure-prone component, Bremmen has you covered with a direct-fit aluminum valve cover upgrade.

The N54 suffers from a weak point in its crankshaft. It has been reported that when increasing the power to the engine, the crank hub can move or spin slightly under an extreme load. This is most apparent under high-rev downshifts or in the case of increased boost pressure which creates more stress on the engines rotating assembly. In order to keep this from happening, the crank bolt must be secured to the hub to keep it from backing off, but this can be a tricky solution since a simple dab of Loctite will not suffice.

Here is an easy, and cost-effective way to secure the situation; The VTT N54 crank bolt capture. This lightweight and durable ring slips over the head of the crank bolt fully encapsulating it, and locks it to the crank hub and eliminating its ability to spin. The VTT-CBC is 100% Billet Aircraft Grade Aluminum, Anodized black to protect it from the elements, and give it a stealth look. What's more is that it weighs only 1.3 Oz's meaning you aren't adding excess mass to the crankshaft which will avoid any imbalance or vibration issues.

While this is not a full fix for all crank hub spinning issues, the engineers at Vargas have found most issues have stemmed from the bolt itself backing out, and this is a great way to keep that from happening. Extremely lightweight at only 1.3 Oz's it adds virtually no weight to the crank which is important for balance and vibration.

Kit Includes:

• 1x Aluminum Crank Bolt Capture
• 8x Fasteners Gr. 12.9

This part fits the following BMWs:
2006-2013 N54

Oil leaks from the valve cover are a common issue on high-mileage S55 engines and should be addressed before they lead to bigger problems. Repeated heat cycles can cause the original plastic valve cover and gasket to warp, crack, or lose their seal over time. This Bremmen aluminum valve cover for the BMW S55 engine is a premium upgraded replacement, engineered for superior strength and longevity. Featuring a durable aluminum housing and an integrated PCV system, it offers a reliable, direct-fit solution to replace the factory valve cover and restore proper engine sealing.

Features pre-installed valve cover gasket and integrated PCV. Without oil cap!

The factory magnesium valve covers on the S65 engine are known for developing micro-porosity, corrosion, and persistent oil leaks over time. This material is highly susceptible to oxidation, leading to unsightly surface imperfections, weakened gasket channels, and sealing issues that a simple gasket replacement won't fix.

Upgrade to this high-strength aluminum valve cover set, engineered as a direct-fit replacement for your aging OEM covers. Unlike magnesium, aircraft-grade aluminum offers superior durability, enhanced heat resistance, and complete immunity to the corrosion issues that plague factory covers. Whether you're refreshing a high-mileage M3 or seeking long-term reliability, this upgrade ensures a leak-free, worry-free solution for your S65.

This valve cover set includes gaskets, bolts, and oil separators for a comprehensive replacement.

Features:

Eliminates the common porosity and corrosion issues found in factory magnesium covers.

Helps maintain optimal engine temperatures and enhances long-term reliability.

Gloss red finish provides a much-needed boost in engine bay aesthetic.

Designed for an OEM-like installation without modifications.

Reduces the risk of oil leaks, ensuring a proper seal.

Resistant to oxidation and chemical exposure for a long-lasting clean look.

This fuel tank hose runs from the filler neck to the inlet of the fuel tank. Due to years of exposure to water, salt, dirt, and general road debris, this hose is commonly rotted out causing a leak when filling the fuel tank.

If your hose is leaking, replace it with this high-quality, exact-fit piece from Bremmen Parts.

Failing ignition coils or plugs can cause sputtering, rough idle, hesitation on acceleration, misfires, and a check engine light.

If one of your ignition coils is bad, it is a good idea to replace the plugs to prevent future problems. Great for fixing those rusted / corroded connections.

Great for modified or Tuned cars

The kit includes:

• 4 Blue Dinan Coils with locks
• 4 NGK spark plugs
• 1 packet of American Grease Stick dielectric grease

These Dinan ignition coils feature:

• Direct plug-and-play.
• Up to 10% more energy output than stock.
• Blue housing with Dinan Logo.
• True upgrade, not just aesthetic.
