This pipe fits in the exhaust just ahead of the muffler and deletes the resonator found in the stock exhaust. The resonator acts like an additional muffler and dampens the engine sound so deleting it will make the car louder - allowing more of the signature BMW inline-6 soundtrack to be heard.
